Fishing for platitudes is a sad way to live life.
At least we won't be subjected to any more "Joshie" nonsense in the updates.
Why do you get so upset about “Joshie” KJ? Your name isn’t KJ or even King Jamie

AMEN to the 2023 season. It will be remembered for injuries, illnesses, guests, r/r, flying bikes, gaps between meetings, weather, and Josh saving our blushes on numerous occasions ………. we will miss him and Brooke but wish them the very best

Firstly, congratulations to Scunthorpe
As for us….. I don’t think I have ever endured such a frustrating season. Unlike some, I felt we had a good young team that were ripe to kick on this year but our wheels came off at Berwick when Josh crashed out. Without our leader and showman extraordinaire we were sunk that early.
They are a bunch of nice guys but personality doesn’t win meetings. I am a great believer that a winning team has to have great reserves.
Josh is the only one I would keep (supposing he wants to come back?) but as always happens, the others will probably come back to bite us.
Speedway eh?

They were trying to put us Monarchs travellers out of our misery
Congratulations to Scunny and Thank heaven for Josh Pickering

How about swinging the thread in a better direction……
Vadim has ruffled some feathers but is it because of his birthright or because he has caught everyone’s eyes and imagination as a brilliant signing by Glasgow. He certainly appears to be a true talent on a speedway bike
Personally, I’d like to hope he feels welcome and enjoys riding in the Uk

I would “maybe” have taken a wee jaunt down the A1 if I’d known Kye was guesting….. nice lad
Occasionally a “cobbled together” set of riders can produce a good meeting. Fingers crossed as both teams deserve a wee silver lining

Get Crescent Girl a set of Kevlars, he walks the walk…….

On another note, Get Well Soon to Sam Hagon. Nasty injury for a youngster

Sedgie will be worn out by the time the second match starts.
Hope the Brummies can get a win though, but as said a 845 start does not bode well,
meeting could be like Titanic sinking. Oh well come on you Brum.
That was a disgraceful performance by Sedgy for Plymouth last night. Why take a guest booking if you have no intention of riding to your ability? Sedgy knows his way around Armadale and set-ups etc but his score for Plymouth 4(5) and his complete disinterest compared to 10(4) for Brummies speaks volumes. Very naughty

He probably turned up because he knew he would get it in the neck if he didn’t
NOW PLEASE leave him alone - there are plenty other things to talk about

We can have all the seasons in one day up here which is sadly what happened yesterday

Sadly it can also mean the difference between securing a team place for next year or not

I think we could have Bartosz Zmarzlik and still not trouble you. What we need is reserves that can win races or at least be competitive

I can’t believe I’m saying this but, as frustrating as the class of 2023 was, I’m sure they can do better……………
