Well from Kelsey's rather quickly removed Facebook status all is not well in the Dugard family and it appears all bikes have been taken from him and he has been offered another team spot but has no equipment to ride.

GOFUNDME.COM Click here to support Help JPB Replace Equipment organised by Heidi Pate Following Jack's high speed crash on Thursday night at Sheffield where he suffered a dislocated shoulder and ligament damage, his race suit and back/body protector where cut off him in order for the ambulance staff to treat him and thus now these need replacing along with repairs to his Equipmen...

    british u-19 final

Great meeting all round, meeting was run in a very professional manner and all the riders gave 100% from start to finish, Dan Bewley was class and he is I'm sure a Grand Prix Rider of the future, Tom Brennan was a well deserved 2nd and well done to them all because from what we saw last night British Speeway was a very bright future

It's such a shame there's no radio commentary of IOW this season, it was great to be able to listen to live speedway every week , hopefully they might change their mind and start it again

From what I understand he was told a number of weeks ago he might not be required if the points limit was kept at 39 thus the Facebook status looking for other options as times goes on teams are sorted he didn't want to be left with no place, looking at his Grandads Facebook he was told at the beginning of the week he wasn't in their plans well before the post last night about the baby in July

    The Big Red B

So you are saying that riders like, Georgie Wood, Ben Hopwood, Mark Baseby, Jake Knight, Matt Williamson, Ben Morley, Jon Armstrong, Kelsey Dugard and Danny Ayres should be banned from riding National League because they are clearly not going to make it to the top now because if they were good enough they would have done it by now (best of luck telling Danny Ayres he can't ride). Also riders like Danyon Hume, Connor Mountain, JPB, Tom Brennan and Jordan Jenkins should only ride CL next season if they want to improve ? First of all where are all these 3 point riders coming from to replace the riders who shouldn't ride National League ? Secondly who is going to pay on average £12 per meeting to watch I'm sorry to say youngsters who don't have the experience to compete at that level yet and end up getting seriously injured? It's all well and good saying how things are in Poland but over there Clubs own there own tracks youngsters can go practice when they want Day or Night over here how many clubs here own there own tracks ? Also the sponsorship over there is far greater for young riders than it is here youngsters over here you have to remember have to stay in education until they are 18 meaning a Saturday job is not going to go very far when it comes to buying equipment etc and not every rider has rich parents to back them. The National League needs a mixture of ages and abilities to run Thats just my opinion

You have a good point but you have to remember JPB is still only 17 and 2018 will still only be his second full season he has a CL place next year with Glasgow yes but if he only gets on average 3 rides a meeting how is he going to get race practice and the chance to earn so he can improve equipment etc

Well that's Jon Armstrong, Jake Knight, Connor Mountain and Ben Hopwood confirmed without a team place next year due to the 39 points limit along with potentially others like JPB and Jack Smith who' s averages have increased last season, this must be the only sport I know you get penalised for getting better .

I think as with most teams the points limit is the big question mark over who they can sign before the limit is agreed, it could be the case with JPB that the Promoters don't want to put pen to paper then have to make big changes when they find they can't make the numbers fit in,
