Hook’s average can’t drop below 4 as far as I’m aware. And where do you get that average for Clegg from? I’m sure he’s 4.21 or around that.

    Brummies 2024...

I don’t think anyone is belittling him but you need to look at the facts whether you or Mr Tolley agrees, they’ve been in the championship for 2 seasons and truthfully put out poor sides each season, on numerous occasions he’s came out and said crowds aren’t good enough. So he moves up a league higher rider costs but perhaps no increase in people through the turnstiles that is a huge risk for anyone to take. I don’t know if they are banking on attracting some wolves fans but if he is that’s a risky strategy imo and there’s only so much losing money someone can take.
  4. I just put him there because he won't be at number 1 but personally I think he'll be fine he's only going to improve further. You look at perhaps Plymouth struggling to get heat leaders apart from Barker and Edinburgh could be stumped if Pickering does indeed move on with no Douglas, Basso and Worrall some teams could be lacking top end strength imo.
  5. Just thought I'd set this up as no one seems to have started one, please feel free to add signings and averages as and when they happen thanks everyone!

    Berwick 2024

Does Schlein get the 2.5% discount for “British” riders?

    Poole 2024

Ben cook first signing and new captain for next season.

    Richie Worrall statement

It’s exactly what he’s after just attention… people should just ignore him, the more people comment on his posts the more tripe he’ll write.

    Poole 2024

Ablitt who they had for one season gave him all the difficult heats and then didn’t use him the following year. Anders Rowe this year improves his average not needed the second year. I don’t but into this oh his average doesn’t fit if you want to keep a rider enough you’ll find a way to fit him into your side.

    Mildenhall 2023

So no Mildenhall in the ndl or whatever it is next season… although they are under new ownership now I think and are hoping to run some open/challenge meetings during the year.

    Plymouth Gladiators 2024

100% this mainly because they are in the premiership they are likely to sell out every week, if they got relegated you’d lose some of the crowd as many teams do when they drop out of the premier league.

    Workington 2024

Haha, mine was slightly in jest but according to bjarnes social media he is building a bike up with the caption ready for a comeback so was just putting 2 + 2 together he’d easily still do a job in the championship imo.

    Workington 2024

    Bjarne Pedersen

    Richie Worrall statement

Why doesn’t he give a full and true explanation of every stage of events from his side start to finish and also go through legal proceedings for said loss of earnings if he’s done no wrong? Instead he’s acting more of a arrogant to55er by that statement he’s put out.

    Richie Worrall statement

Makes himself look a bit of a t1t considering all the rubbish he came out with having nothing in his system and got his own tests done what an idiot.

    Workington 2024

Craig Cook been practicing at Workington today it’s on his social media with the caption “ I'm not done yet “ could there be an emotional return to Cumbria as there number 1 next season?

    Poole 2024

No wonder him and Kemp put there eggs in the polish u24 basket nobody wanted either of them until injuries occurred they both improve there average and could perhaps be unemployable crazy really.

    Poole 2024

The meltdown if this actually happens would be hilarious! Poole got Lawson for Basso last season maybe Glasgow could throw in Ksiezak for the cooks if he’s still an asset haha.

    NDL Future

Didn’t the bspl punish the iow for holding Nora meetings as well as Kent last season? The rate clubs are closing right now the bspl should be doing everything to help them to ensure we actually have a future sport but no they do the opposite.

    Poole 2024

You keep thinking mainly due to his past he should easily add to his 4 average but his average has only went one way the last couple of years which is a bit of a worry imo.
  21. No Ashton boughen tonight he can’t make it due to van trouble.

    Leicester Lions 2024

Fricke, masters and Douglas to start with and build from there you need riders who can ride Leicester.
  23. bloom89

    Sheffield Tigers 2024

Injuries and the Darcy ward incident had a huge impact on him imo.

    NDL Future

It’s frankly ridiculous in this day and age where clubs are closing left right and Centre what do they do decide to remove a league unbelievable really but we shouldn’t at all be surprised by the clowns who run this sport.

    NDL Future

Could Kent, mildehall and say Oxford not join iow and create a mini nora league for example and effectively stick two fingers up at the bspl? Could the bspl actually do anything to stop this? We’ve seen in the past I think Scott Nicholls threaten to sue the bspa when they wouldn’t allow him to double down. The bspl don’t really do anything to help the current ndl clubs survive so why shouldn’t they run against the bspl. I fail to see how any promising rider or any rider for that matter would be able to climb the speedway ladder without some sort of ndl or a training league. Could say for example Glasgow, Edinburgh and Berwick form a Scottish side to also join the Nora league and hold a few home matches at each track during the season? Surely that would spread the cost.
