Does anyone know who is riding for the Newcastle select side on the 29th

Need to give the lad a chance, change will do him good and he’s also young and improving.

I personally think Birmingham have a decent side, 1st they have 6 soon to be 7 riders to watch for the 2023 season ( not all supporters have a club to support) You’ll be surprised with James Wright who did excellent for Newcastle and I think he’s in a false average. Every time I saw Nick Morris last season he was excellent giving 100% all the time , lastly I think Alfie Bowtell will increase his average and push for a heat leader as he’s been improving every season. A lot of positives for this team.

I know the diamonds got beat today but you can’t fault the effort by the lads, watching Pickering was value for money on its own but Max’s win over Masters and Pickering was just class, I accept we aren’t going to win many matches but I just like to see speedway at brough and the lads giving their all.

Leicester look the ones to beat but I think Scunthorpe will be the surprise team.

Just pleased we have a team to go and watch every Sunday, Hopefully turn a few top teams over

I don’t understand why people are turning on their own club, we’ve had a bad enough season without people turning on people like Roy who do it for the love of Newcastle Speedway, as previous post mention we could have a lot worse.

Jason Edwards got better as the meeting went on, considering he could hardly get around in his first outing, Phillips should have beaten him all evening but not to be, then Edwards was not far off Bjerre either

To be fair Bjerre wasn’t that bad he still scored 9 points but Worrall and Jorgensen have been very poor the last 2 meetings, Worrall hasn’t beating anyone in his last 2 home meetings

Just joined this forum as I’m sick of reading the dross people keep posting. Newcastle have signed 7 riders willing to try their best for the club and as a supporter that’s all we can hope for, a rider going to try their best in every heat they ride. It’s time people get behind the club instead of keep stating how much they are going to struggle, stay positive as paper teams never win the league anyway and get behind the lads and support the diamonds.
