Workington v Berwick Border Trophy 31/03/24 3pm
Neila replied to topaz325's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The crowd guess was for development league racing last year, 1st time back in the championship since 2018 the H18TORY season, so will have to see what type of crowds come to the GT Tyres northside arena -

Even jake Allen said on the stream it was just about rideable but not raceable -

It should not be in, suggest the original poster gets the title correct, to acknowledge the sponsor correctly it's Workington GT tyres comets -
That would be good to see as bartoz struggled to get round Glasgow a couple of years ago , god knows what he would make of Plymouth

Did you have your name on the bus ?? -
From what I saw on Saturday our new 3+4 pairing will be able to take care of themselves and will become a good pairing imo
-
Can anyone who has used the stream before, know if it works via the Internet on a smart TV please, ta very much a worky fan
-
Looking at photos on Facebook it was more like major reconstruction to extend the track, well done Plymouth for doing this, but think the soggy winter has caught them out a bit, just hope it's dry in the next few days . Forecast windy and showers so hopefully the track will dry out before Saturday
-
Think the rules are/were the rider has to ride an official fixture before a facility is allowed, as 3 laps Eddie a couple of years ago
-
Press and practice cancelled due to track conditions have you not seen the track work over winter? Very soggy to say the least and some major work got done, see photos on Facebook, hope it drys out in time for the weekend
-
Regarding the live stream, is it stream only or is there commentary as well ??
-
Got to feel for Plymouth, obviously running to a budget, can't pick a rider out of thin air, been soggy all winter while major track work has been going on, now still soggy and the track is struggling to dry out, then your 1st meeting on a bank holiday weekend against a side that will pull in the fans, home and away, now in doubt due to incomplete team and a dodgy track. Hope the meeting is on at the weekend as it could make or break the full season

Beg to differ, the 3 top riders from Cumbria came from moto X, one now a GP rider , one used to ride for Plymouth and the other is No 1 for worky
-
Both the newcomers at 3+4 will imo surprise a lot of people, both looked good at practice and tate was never off his bike, seems to love being on a bike and a natural, a bit like a certain cumbrian GP star !! Time will tell let's enjoy this journey UTC
-
From what I gather the promotion had to work too, the deal was only done recently so I think yhe budget could still be in place imo
-
Let's just enjoy this season and don't even think about moving up, as it won't happen, too expensive, no lighting etc. So let's leave it there and enjoy to journey this season win lose or draw UTC
-
Don't know which forecast you are looking at, but Sunday shows a good sunny day
-
Think the showers could be few but a cool wind, wrap up warm perfect weather for speedway
-
Don't listen to rumours, as said the track and the GT tyres arena looking good on the video on Facebook. Also heard a bike going round this afternoon, maybe our elusive rider no 7 or no 1
-
On social media posts collection for new air fence fund, only bend 1+2 and home straight open. Personally I would have done a charity collection, but will still donate to air fence fund
-
Sam jensen was mentioned a couple of days ago, would be an OK signing imo, been round most of the tracks before, now a couple of years older, and on a mid 5 point average I think

Not the only rider who did not feel well for one reason or another when traveling north, the said jailed turd failed to turn up at Edinburgh a couple of times., after hearing a tester was abiut, allegedly
