  1. He might well come to Foxhall and bang in double figure scores as he had in previous seasons.... However he can't do it consistently week in week out so we're better off with out him. As for upping his average not so sure on that one as I said consistency is his issue now

  2. Ah rider control that will fix the issues the sport faces lol.

This time last year everyone had Ipswich to finish cut adrift at the bottom of the league because they could land a number 1 and what happen? Oh yes we made the play off final.

The out and out number one is a thing of the past with the exception of Doyle at Swindon.

If you want to control where riders go then sign them all on a central BSPA contracts put them in groups of one to seven and draw the names out of a hat to see where they end up for the season.

No Nicholls,,, he's on the naughty list

Obviously Holder depends on visa application I would have thought, but that's what the jungle drums are saying in my local boozer.

Klindt King Heeps Allen Holder covatti Ayres

Obviously something different if no Holder.

Why is Nicholls on the naughty list? He has guested for us several times in recent seasons?

I think I have the no.1 down to the following

Bjerre - enticed with more money

Lindgren - enticed with more money

Holder - agreed deal just visa issues

    Milik - enticed with money

Vaculik - enticed with more money

    Lebvedes - enticed with money

Michelsen - enticed by Klindt and the offer of more money

Harris - come back and put a few points on your average, offered less money

Woffinden enticed by Tru plant sponsorship

Don't forget Ipswich ended the season with Iversen so he must of been happy with the pay rate and certainly isn't a rider to suggest a lack of ambition.

For me, one of the biggest issues in attracting International rider's is their track. Rider's want big fast mecca's not 5 pence pieces. It was a reason for Iversen's struggles in 2019 imo.

Gollob and Hampel both sign for Ipswich because the track was tight and tricky and they recognised that would be a massive help in their development. That said it was the old Foxhall track.

Doyle isn’t the best example as he wouldn’t be the one leaving Swindon under Phil’s proposal.

Word on the street is that Buster has nothing to do with Ipswich.

I think you would find that telling any rider who they must for would be a breach of employment law unless they all signed central BSPA contracts.

Quite right Buster has nothing to do with ipswich

If you have Harris along with King and Heeps you have 3 riders who won't increase their scoring over the season. Harris is on the way down, King will stay the same or drop slightly and Heeps has a slight improvement left. Then add in Klint that's 4 riders with no real improvement to be gained from there starting figures. Allen is a must but a full season in the top 5 again might see no improvement in scoring. Then your at 5 riders who will sit at the same level. I think we need decent changes from last season to maintain the level, we hit last season.

Harris wasn't as good as expected, but having watched his average drop during the year, wouldn't it be a silly idea to not have him back on that lower average?? Many time we have let riders averages drop, only for other teams to get the benefit.

No I think Harris is at his level and that average is only going one way.
