The ref should be questioned at a senior level and asked his reasons for continuing the meeting . Further training should be offered to assist.
Firstly I wasn’t there so I don’t know the state of the track/weather between heats 1 and 10 but why should a referee wait until heat 10 to call a meeting off if the track is in a dangerous or unfit condition? Was the track any different between heats 10 and 12, if not, any of the riders could have suffered the same injuries as Max Perry in the first 10 heats. So saying the ref is accountable for letting riders ride in the same track conditions after heat 10 as they were in the first 10 is wrong.
Like I said I wasn’t there so maybe the ref could and should of called it off after heat 10 but what would the Oxford fans have said to that if it was Leicester who were 2 points up ? -

I thought so,it was just with Steve saying it was down to Tuesday’s meeting that confused me

Haven’t worked out the permutations or looked at current standings yet but what happens if Glasgow beat Oxford get bonus but Redcar beat Glasgow on Wednesday night ?

And Bradley Wiggins … He won Tour de France when allegedly under the influence of drugs…. When I took drugs I couldn’t even find my bike let alone ride it

Maybe because they have a BSN season ticket pass, so if they have paid for it , why not watch it ?

Obviously Danny King has a place at Redcar, it's difficult finding a number 1 who realistically will be riding in the UK next year who doesn't already have a team spot. Shame we could have had a decent looking side... Although if Granty was still in charge it would've been at least 5 points lower than this I'm sure.
1 Danny King 8.05 2 Max Clegg 5.23 3 James Wright 5.51 4 Matthew Wethers 6.47 5 Tero Aarnio 7.55 6 Paul Starke 5.11 7 Archie Freeman 2.00 39.92 Another notable name is Ashley Morris, who doesn't have a team either...
Sorry just realized that James is at Birmingham too... But yous get my point.
Paul Starke is at Plymouth

I have been around Speedway for over 40 years now and I honestly don’t know how rider contracts, assets work etc but I thought( may be wrong) Jordan Jenkins was a Redcar asset? If that is the case could Redcar not of stopped him going anywhere else and said to him “ Your our asset we want to and are going to use you next season” Like I said I haven’t a clue how this side of speedway works and I also understand why keep a rider if he is going to be unhappy and upset the team spirit

How much start-up costs would be involved and how many people would be interested? I'd be interested in getting involved even if i was just 1% part owner along with another 99 for example.
This is my opinion and I honestly hope I am proved wrong but there is not a chance of Speedway returning to Newcastle in the next few years Brough park or anywhere else . As for finding 100 people they couldn’t find 20 to go to a memories night.

Genuine question as I am not there or seen any BSN coverage .. 7 Poole riders and management want it to continue… 6 Glasgow riders and management want it off. So because Glasgow get the verdict it is a pathetic decision say the Poole fans… What if it was other way around and Glasgow wanted to continue and Poole wanted it off and it was called off .. Would Poole fans still be saying it was the wrong decision ?

Not a boring man, just a confused one !!as he says Leicester are favourites by the proverbial mile, but also says Poole have the heat leaders to equal Leicester and the 2nd strings to beat them ??

Fair point and thanks .. I just couldn’t understand the post I quoted saying the ref should of been accountable because he let the meeting continue after heat 10
