Championship Predictions 2024
Falcon1983 replied to Bagpuss's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Nothing against any of them, as i have no affiliation to any side, just feel Glasgow will not be as good as people believe I think Plymouth could be the surprise package as their 1-7 are generally good at home so can be some bonus points won, both Thompsons will improve if they stay injury free, Joe i believe scored 7ish guesting at no.3 last season so being at 7 in a weaker league will see him score well Ok Covatti and Barker aren't Harris/Worrall but they are triers which will give them a good chance -

Maybe the BSPL should have taken up the offer of WBD buying into the promotional rights of British Speedway, all would be a drop in the ocean to grow a domestic series that feeds riders into Poland and/or the SGP series, obviously Poland didn't want the WBD cash but the UK should! It is a lot of money but you think Dudek was touting himself around, there was talk of £6k per meeting but it was £3k per meeting (£6k figure was for Home/Away) but the flights etc. were on top but flights are pretty cheap nowadays but guess it all adds up If it was me choosing/negotiating the last two rides, then all roads do point to Artem Laguta, he would ride in the UK in 2024 for the right deal and that's not always about money, and I would probably look at Anders Thomsen or Rasmus Jensen, can't remember which one but one was looking at a UK ride last year but it didn't quite happen

Think someone said android users can't react to posts
-
I would suggest that maybe 'talking' to means 'talked' to 6 riders One of those 6 is/was Lindgren who has said no (unless there is room for further negotiation) two of the 6 are the Pawlicki brothers Leaves 3 remaining, one of whom is Thorsell, another is Zagar leaving one which is either Thomsen or Nilsson most likely Thomsen

In the dark ages they didn't have the internet or forums, go back there immediately

Still time for Brum to sign him up lol
-
Seems like Brum need to get Creative Is Lindback not on a stupid average from his time at Poole was it in 2016? Would almost start at reserve and is an exciting rider to watch He's riding in Sweden in 2024 i believe Jacob Thorsell and Zagar sound like possibilities for 1 and 5 but would be a weak pairing on paper Whats Kenneth Bjerre doing these days?

1. Dudek 2. Brennan 3. Zagar 4. Worrall 5. Thorsell 6. Z. Cook 7. Flint

Ipswich Witches 2024 serious team predictions

I couldn't disagree more with your perspective on Speedway entry charges for kids. While it might seem unusual compared to other events, the focus shouldn't solely be on immediate revenue. Speedway needs to prioritize building a sustainable fan base for the future. Charging kids for entry can deter families from attending, as the financial burden may discourage parents from bringing their children to Speedway events. The average age of current Speedway supporters is relatively high, and it's crucial to attract younger audiences to ensure the sport's longevity. By offering free entry for kids accompanying paying adults, Speedway is making a strategic investment in its future. The goal is to cultivate a love for the sport in the younger generation. As these kids grow into adults, they are more likely to become loyal fans who willingly pay for tickets. This long-term approach is essential for the survival and growth of Speedway. Comparing Speedway entry charges to other sports may not be the most relevant metric. Instead, the focus should be on creating incentives for families and young individuals to choose Speedway as their entertainment of choice. It's about fostering a sense of community and passion for the sport, not just about the immediate revenue generated from kids' ticket sales. In the grand scheme of things, whether it's 50p or £1 for a child's entry is a minor detail. The primary objective should be to secure the future of Speedway by building a diverse and enthusiastic fan base that will sustain the sport for years to come. -

100% wrong move to charge Kids, especially if its just to gain £1 a head BSPL should have made it mandatory that all clubs done kids 16 and Under FREE for the good of the sport -

Douglas 6. Riss 7. Kemp Birmingham 1. Laguta 2. B Cook 3. Lawson 4. Wright 5. Becker 6. Brennan 7. Thomas anyone to share their predictions for all or any teams?
-
Kerr is proven at all UK tracks Wojdylo although done well with Pboro is still somewhat unproven over the course of a full season Palm-Toft has had injury problems so maybe he is more on Kerrs level If Iversen dropped to reserve I'd be extremely concerned rather than looking at it as a positive

It's not that bad in CL and NDL but a few times I've seen him in the top flight gating, and as you say that first bend/2nd bend is where he'll need to improve Pretty sure once he masters those and is more consistent with it which seems harsh to say as he's limited in experience, he'll certainly grow into a top rider I'm hoping for his sake that he developes into a top rider would love to see any young brit rise to the top
-
Boughen has good equipment He's also very quick Understandably his gating lets him down at times but if can master that, as a rising star, i think he would do well

Lets agree simply that you have no idea jasons true intentions, i have no idea and nobody else apart from jason himself so stupid to comment on it in the first place and others have lost their minds over it for no reason either, unless jason comes out and says he's simply using ipswich of course
