    Poole 2024

So just to put the team that we are all thinking out there! 1. Lawson 8.48 2. (4.2 left) 3. Ben Cook 7.39 4. Zach 6.22 5. Brennan 7.15 6. Hagon 2.56 7. Perry 2 Now Perry did suffer a very serious injury so could that scare us off him? Or are we assuming that not only will he be physically fully fit he will mentally be fine as well? With the addition of Brennan I would think he would be at 5 leaving the cooks to continue their exciting partnership

I would think if are moving up Anders would have been the rising star. In the local echo it did say Poole are set to run in the championship a few days back

Agree it's almost too low this points limit as it's going to become a money game. Which team is willing to pay more to get the bargain 5avg riders to come over from abroad. I'd rather have Anders the local lad over any new upcoming pole. But a silly points limit rules out Anders returning

Both have had numerous stints at Poole, successful ones too, both have low averages and are capable of more. Team building is about building a team with riders who can add more to there average.

With Ben and Zach if you look at the races they rode together last year they were fantastic. A lot of 5-1s and some were in huge pressure situations. They certainly bring the best out of each other when at the tapes together. There are only a few team's that have a better 3rd heatleader than Ben Cook but im not sure there are any teams with a better 4 than Zach. In a weaker league than it was last year both will put a point on there average if injury free. Don't forget Ben Cook was riding like a number 1 come the end of the season, home and away he was top top class when the business end of the season came

Would love for us to have at least one of Rew or Zischke in the team, both seem ever exciting. Both consistently doing well during our off season and should be 100% ready for the start of our season. Now I think Zischke will be be similar to Ben in his first season with us where he quickly got dialed in at home and was patchy away, now if we can pair him with a reserve who can be a consistent point scorer home and away that should be a good pairing. Then it's all about who we pair Ben with at 3 and 4

Have we decided that no new Aussies will be at Poole?

Although I like Ruml I put him in the same category as Kemp, both solid riders and won't have their average drop but can't see either raising it either. With the first 7 I like the first 5. Gives you 8 points for 2 riders. So could go 2× 4pointers or a 5 and 3. I guess that's where Rew and Tate come into play

    POOLE 2023

I agree that they are decent, but nothing more than that. And I can't remember the last time Poole built a decent team. I think our team will be stronger
