  1. What time does this meeting start??
  2. Updates on the weather throughout the day would be very much appreciated! I am praying that the rain is not going to arrive when it is forecast, although it is not looking good right now.

    Cardiff Racecard?

I guess once the draw is made at 1pm tomorrow it will appear
  4. Well looking at the forecast this morning, it certainly seems to be clearing up. Metcheck had it as pishing down yesterday, but now only light rain from 7pm onwards, and MetOffice had it has heavy rain, but now sun up to the evening with light rain after that. Lets hope that it gets even better, I for one would be devastated if this is called off!
  5. Yeah I know, we have one too I was just thinking that 7.30 was quite late to start the meeting seeing as it is a long format. Hope there are no problems
  6. With a 10pm curfew, they are cutting it VERY fine with a 7.30pm start time

    Cardiff Gp Betting Odds

Pedersen, Hancock and Lindgren are all worth a punt! Think I might stick on an e/w on Lindgren, and Hancock to win

    No Laguta At Cardiff ?

America isn't commonwealth... For the sake of this argument, Russia and America are surely considered the same? To me it does seem a bit ridiculous, but hey ho, just another example of how our immigration system sucks!!

    No Laguta At Cardiff ?

Where does this news come from? Would be disappointed if this is true, because Laguta seemed to be much more on the pace in Parken and I think he could have upset a few in Cardiff.
  10. I know, just so many rubbish riders in the line up...isn't it ridiculous? Don't be so pathetic!! In terms of qualification, I am assuming, and just assuming as we havent actually been told, dont they just take the top 3 riders averages in each team totaled (as of rolling averages on June 1st) and then take the top 10?? This would be the totals as of then, of the top 3 riders according to the BSPA official averages: Newcastle 24.93 Redcar 24.47 Sheffield 24.04 Workington 23.45 Glasgow 23.38 Plymouth 23.36 Somerset 23.1 Edinburgh 22.8 Leicester 22.72 Rye House 22.71 Newport 22.17 Ipswitch 22.16 Berwick 20.6 Scunthorpe 20 Therefore missing out would be Newport, Ipswitch, Berwick and Scunthorpe. Then obviously with Plymouth dropping out, I would assume that Newport then would be given the place being 0.01 above Ipswitch, but appears not to be the case. But I think these figures pretty much lay out the selection of the teams, which seems very fair to me, and I dont see any arguement with it?? Apart from a few anomalies along the way with certain riders who arent in the top 3 taking riders. (Summers for Redcar??)
  11. I really cannot understand the doom and gloom of some of the people on here! Ok, not every team is in this meeting and many might agree that the system of qualification is not right etc... but, lets not forget that this meeting still has a top line up with the riders taking part and it is part of a fantastic weekend and celebration of speedway in Britain! I personally think that the line up is very wide open with any number of teams in with a shot and I cannot wait for it!! I just hope that the weather is kind to us and the track is in top condition
  12. Well it seems now that Ipswitch have been handed a place after all, with Doolan and Poole representing. This comes after Barker is called up as a track reserve at the GP so cant ride in this.

    Tips For Poland

I am toying with the idea of jumping on a ryanair flight over to Poland sometime maybe at the back end of July or sometime in August to check out a meeting over there. Just wondering where people would recommend visiting for the best speedway. I dont mind if they are the top devision or 2nd or whatever, just where is some exciting racing and plenty of other things to do for a couple of days in the area. Thanks in advance
