    Brummies 2024...

I went a fair few times in 2019, so it wasn't unused for two years.

Kemp was good the few times I saw him at Beaumont Park last season.

I have been to Monmore Green & Perry Barr many times, had season tickets at both over the years. I used to enjoy the racing at Monmore Green but it hasn't been as good as it was in the last 10ish years. When Wolves had Peter Karlsson & Lindgren you could guarantee good racing weekly, before that when Ermolenko was in his pomp especially when Cradley visited with Hancock & Hamill. Perry Barr was a decent race surface when it re-opened, I think it deteriorated after Tony Mole departed the club and the last time I was a regular visitor in the 2021 season it was awfully dusty almost every week.

Some odd rumours here. Laguta wasn't exactly reliable last year for Stars or Panthers but is a "marquee signing"... but when they don't turn up when expected people get really miffed . The Pawlicki's I can sort of see, neither have been in the GP's for a few years & both have experience in UK league racing. Doubt either would be a consistent #1 but I also doubt either would be on an high average. Lampart I don't rate, he is a bit lightweight. Like many a Pole he can gate and when he does hit the front he can be quick. That said would make a mockery of a 4.00 assessed average.

Very decent team, can see the reserve berth being a bit of hot potato with a different rider every month where that riders average sky rockets. Can see all but Janowski potentially spending time there - it worked for the Panthers when they won the league in 2021. I'm not a big Janowski fan, but it's good to have him back in UK league racing.

Be interesting to see how Jimmy does at reserve.

    Brummies 2024...

Let's be honest... Brummies fans have suffered. Avoiding the 2nd tier wooden spoon & completing their fixtures is an achievement. The signings of Flint & Brennan are a solid start to team.building, have potential to improve and are two riders well known to average Brummies fan. But the next announcement needs to be more exciting, Brummies have a #1 ... be that Laguta, Pawlicki or Lindgren.

Lindgren spent last season (all of it) with Västervik in Elitserien. Didn't he? Think he may have missed the start of one league season (2022 perhaps) in his long career but finished that season missing only the opening 6 fixtures? Lindgren was in his day nighe unbeatable around Monmore, with PB as home track, it's a risk.

Lindgren hasn't ridden in Britain for years, why would he do so once Monmore closed? Not sure he'd maintain a 9 3 average anyway. But zi guess he's a #1. Never rated Wiktor Lampart, was a very good 16 year old but hasn't really progressed in 5 years, easily bullied, tentative when in traffic. Too lightweight.
  11. Lambert 7.61 ... start dreaming Stars Fans!
  12. I think the team building start for the Stars is decent. NKI has all the experience you want & Musielak is a #1. Basso should sky rocket and MPT is solid but coming off two poor seasons. Think KL needs a good second heat leader to keep pressure off the Danes Not sure Tarasenko fits that if he is pencilled in as next signing. Two 6.5ish riders completing the line up hangs Musielak out to dry in 13 & 15. Unlikely as it maybe what's Robert Lamberts average.
  13. Add Sayfutdinov & King to the three announced signings & Ipswich can't have much left can they?

Makes sense, Wright appeared to thoroughly enjoy the Cowley shale at the Championship Pairs.

    Brummies 2024...

Zagar can't surely be signed as a #1, I doubt he'd maintain his average attained in 2022 if the NSS isn't is home track. As third heater, he wouldn't be a disastrous signing I wouldn't imagine. At 3 & 4 alongside Brennan I could see them holding their own.
  16. Col

    Brummies 2024...

I can't imagine that happening, he has in the past refused to ride Perry Barr until every molecule of shale has been scraped off it.

    Brummies 2024...

Brennan wasn't an RS last season so won't be in the coming season.
  18. King was captain last season wasn't he?

    Oxford Spires 2024

The two times I ventured to Cowley last season were by far the biggest two crowds I had witnessed in domestic British speedway since the 90's. But 3 leagues seems too much.
  20. Maksym Drabik, stays at Częstochowa. Emil Sajfutdinow staying with Torun for 2024 & 2025.
  21. Without knowing any of the young Poles, the Grudziadz top 4 look stronger than their FZG counterparts. You'd think they're probably going to the two teams battling relegation?
  22. No stopping FZG today... Jan Kvech, Przemysław Pawlicki, Rasmus Jensen and Michał Curzytko.
  23. Wadim Tarasienko qualifies as a senior Pole?
