  1. Przedpełski! maybe a spoiler in Torun but will struggle elsewhere, better than Kasprzak at least. Dudek is a gater but can be quick & mix it with top few, could be in contention for top 6. Fricke deserves to be in the Gp's.
  2. Just watched that heat after football finished. It was dusty & dreadful to starts its now dirty, dreadful & worse still dangerous.
  3. Kolodziej 5th in Ekstraliga averages, won a GP when last in the series a few years ago What's your issue? I'd much rather him than Paweł Przedpełski!
  4. Just scores after 20 heats or is there semi & final?
  5. Better from Bewley, still I think I'd rather watch Liverpool v Burnley, track is terrible.
  6. Poor start for the Brits, track dustier than Perry Barr. I don't really think Smolinski or Przedpełski would enhance the GP series, as good a season the latter has had for Torun.
  7. Why two Czech reserves if it's in Slovakia. Or is that just a coincidence from the qualification?
  8. Looking at that line up (for the first time) if I ignore the Brits (who I'd obviously like to see qualify) the most entertaining riders to watch are Fricke, Kolodziej & Lebedevs, but I'd be very surprised if the Latvian would be competitive in the series
  9. Never been a Kasprzak fan, don't think he's much more than a gater. I'm no Lindback fan either but he was better to watch especially early in his career. More of a Kolodziej fan (but not much) as he is a racer & I would rather have a rider who can win a GP in the series than one who isn't competitive in every round.
  10. Didn't he win a GP that year? Much better than Lindback & Kasprzak! He was 5th in Ekstraliga averages this season when I last checked.
  11. Just watched Wroclaw v FZG, predictably one sided, at least Dudek & Fricke had to the good graces to offer resistance. Bewley must wonder what he has to do to get in heat 14, better than Woffinden & Chugunov tonight. Seen result from Torun, couldn't find recording, if Gorzow don't get their 4 injured riders back their participation in the playoffs is futile. Wait Jasiński is back, so at least they will have something from reserve. Looking forward to Sunday
  12. Sure when I looked earlier via the website calendar it said tickets on sale soon. I'll try that link in the morning, thanks.
  13. Kim Nilsson made a fairly atrocious spectacle interesting & somehow a weak Rospigarna a bonus. Sure rain impaired the racing but the last few heats were reasonable.
  14. With West Bromwich Albion & Birmingham City both having home fixtures on this the same night will the crowd be depleted? Brummies won when visiting Shielfield Park in the season opener for both teams but Berwick were missing a rider or two that night. Any predictions? Other than Bickley, who did nothing special for Glasgow in 2019 I don't think seen any of this Bandits septet at Perry Barr, except perhaps Summers but it would have been a long time ago.
  15. Sorry if this has been covered previously but I can't get an answer out of SGP via email or social media. Are tickets for the cancelled 2020 SoN still valid?
  16. Brennan wasn't so far off Riss in heat 13. Harris rode a bike with red coverings in the his first 3 rides and a bike that matched his leathers - what I assume is his normal bike - in his finial two rides. The red bike recorded the quickest heat time this reason in heat 4.
  17. Doesn't explain why Riss was so much quicker in heat 15 than heat 13 last night though!
  18. Riss hasn't had a heat 15 outing recently, Batchelor & Nick Morris won the two most recent heat 15's at Perry Barr. Admittedly Batchelor needed a massive roller to do so.
  19. No dust tonight, much better track. But still a little bumpy on turn 1. Not the best of meetings but if Brennan could have a word with Erik Riss before every meeting along the lines of what he said to him after heat 13 that would be good, heat 15 is the first time Riss has rode Perry Bar like he did for Redcar in 2019 that I've seen. Not sure what Brennan was upset about, Riss was leading with Brennan chasing but didn't seem to swerve to impede him to me. Other than the Brummies #1 maximum a word for James Shanes who battled for his 9 points and when he did eventually gate in his final ride was very quick. Harris was odd, super quick in his first ride, missed the gate in his third caught Flint & Brennan by the end of the first lap but then couldn't find a way past. Didn't make the gate in his final two rides having swapped bikes but rounded all with ease, except the inspired Riss in heat 15. Thomas was much improved. Castagna wasn't gating was well as recently as is reflected in his score, but the Italian & Morris have done as much as any Brummie to win the two recent 46-44 home meetings so no complaints. Morris was many to succumb to mechanical gremlins in the early stages of the meeting, Thomas & Andersen both packed up in heat 8, Thomas was smart enough to tootle around for a point whereas Andersen threw his bike down on eth centre green in disgust. Speaking of which Grobauer needed 3 heats to complete 4 laps and wouldn't have scored a point had Etheridge not slid off for the second time, his two falls meant the victory was comfortable for the home side who were flattered by the final score. The Bandits only resistance was from Brennan & Flint, the rest of the Bandits had a night to forget. Andersen has one decent ride & an argument with the start marshall, Bickley never looked like scoring. Bad news for Brummies is the Albion are at home again next Wednesday, good news for me is that the hawthorns kick off is again at 8 pm, the M6 is not looking a viable way home any time soon.
  20. Track looks like it's had a good soaking.
  21. Assume Bandit Kasper Andersen the same rider who is also in the King's Lynn septet?
