Belle Vue Vs Wolves, Nss, 27/9/17... Playoff Semi Final 2nd Leg.

Really just feel quite sorry for you. Sad that a grown man's entertainment is goading people to react. Whatever floats your boat I guess... Really just feel quite sorry for you. Sad that a grown man's entertainment is goading people to react. Whatever floats your boat I guess... -
Wolves - Swindon Followed By Wolves - Kings Lynn 4.9.17
alkadera replied to A ORLOV's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
A bit obsessional maybe... -
I like their enthusiasm. Yes, they may be a bit over the top occasionally but I liken it to us fans cheering and shouting during a race. They're fans like us so why not let them show it? They clearly have a good rapport and even take the Mickey out of themselves. Would be a very boring commentary if they never got excited.

Apparently wolves appear to be the only track with any home advantage... -

On a positive note, the racing was pretty decent. The 3rd/4th bend produced some great lines. Much better than when I've been before. -

Was surrounded by Belle Vue and Cradley fans without any sign of trouble all evening. One or two ridiculous shouts about opposition riders but nothing else. With my son and daughter (Wolves mascots) doing a meet and greet by the turnstiles before the meetings we chatted to fans from all 3 clubs and found everyone to be very friendly. -
Doubling up has been happening since the 70s albeit under different names. It's not a new concept. Guests have for a long time been a problem. White city 77 I think, Wolves 76? using season long guests. Teams using 40-50 guests a season. Teams changing riders has happened throughout. There is too much doubling up now and it should be limited if it can't be got rid of but it's not exactly new.
-
Don't know if this would solve the rider shortage but how about 6 rider teams - 5 full time members and 1 reserve spot shared between 2 young GB riders from the league below who must ride on different nights in that league. Gives continuity of team and opportunities for young Brits. Not thought of the finer details though yet
-
At the time though, he had effectively stopped them from earning a living. Whether they signed for someone else is irrelevant. Holder and batchelor either did not think through the consequences of their actions or thought that they were too important to the team to be sacked. Their bluff was called by buster chapman and now they're whining about it.
-
So he has never changed his team then, putting riders out of work? Holder and batchelor can still earn from their contracts abroad.

As I said the joys of the written word - the use of the words 'nearly' and 'impressive!' give that impression in your original post without any reference to promoting or advertising it on here which you then use in your further posts.
-
if that's what you truly believe then I suggest you try making your posts clearer as it can easily be read in a different way. The joys of the written word.... Hmmm the right to an opinion works both ways
-
Not the question I asked, mate...
-
But you didn't mention about other people donating, just that the Wolves Facebook page has 1000+ members and equating it to 20p each with accompanying 'impressive!'. If that is you advertising something it's a very strange way to go about it. Each to their own I guess. So why are you so 'opinionated' about everything Wolves then from all those years?
-
So when Steve0 mentioned the comment by Adams dad, why did you have a go at him? He was just pointing out the comment about loyalty which you then professed to also want...
-
So if you were just advertising the fund for Kyle howarth why the sarcastic comment about 1000 members and 20p each..... And you clearly haven't moved on from last October given your complete obsession with being derogatory about everything Wolves.

Wolves V Poole 29/5/17 6 Pm

What a load of old guff. You could find videos at every track of riders falling off/ getting out of control. I think someone is still a little bit miffed from last October -
Nathan Greaves is using one too

Echoing what jenga said, Connor coles certainly improved in each outing and Danny Philips was always in the mix and attacked the track even if it did result in a few mistakes. On another note, I was very impressed with Craig cook too. Never really been a fan of his before but his team ethic and attitude was impressive - great team riding with Mason campton, out on track giving advice and he was rapid too. Made me change my mind a little about him! -

Are dogs allowed in at Peterborough? -
If Joonas hadn't been replaced then we probably wouldn't have lost at home to Belle Vue thereby changing the playoffs as well
-
As big a fan of tai as I am, this is the right decision. You do need to actually ride in the country to be granted one. I've supported him in other decisions but he's got this one wrong.
-
Seems a fairly simple question tbh...

Haha not heard that in a few years mungo! Cheers for the good wishes. Hopefully we can get in lies of practice over the winter
