Definitely the right call. Heavy rain most of the day. Very windy and bloody cold. No way the track would have dried out. So correct call
-
Weather looks dreadful. Weather will win sadly
-
After the afternoon showers rain should clear about 4 and be dry all night till 10pm so should be all good to go
-
Weather looks worse now sadly.

They said that last week against Sheffield and we was watering the track before the start. I never take notice of what they say. met office as some rain in morning and chance of light rain into evening. But nothing to cause any problems really

Aces v Sheffield 01/04/24
Phil The Ace replied to Cue Ball's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
We haven’t had heavy rain as of yet and I’m about 5 miles from track. The weather been perfect last few days here so track would have been prepped for this and as we know we can take alot of water. im edging towards it being on myself. But the result will be a lottery now -
Belle Vue Colts v Leicester Lion Cubs
Phil The Ace replied to secsy1's topic in National League Speedway
Yes. It wasn’t a good look for us. Very rare indeed. the start Marshall’s were standing in as our normal ones were away regarding the track. And this is a massive bug bare of mine and this is my opinion why a lot of riders never make the step up from NL to premiership. that track was absolutely spot on yesterday despite all the rain we had. The premiership boys would have loved that. but because the youth system and NL give all these youngsters tracks like motorways they don’t know how to ride when there is a bit of grip. they then have to learn how to ride with grip in competitive action thus knocking there confidence and eventually being lost to the sport. so I dont like doing this but I blame the riders for not having the skill to race and not the track itself. -

Cancelling a practice after doing a few meetings already is totally different to cancelling the first 2 fixtures -

I went to watch it live. And I paid for the stream to watch it back. for me it’s value for money. For others they think I’m crazy. What’s value for money for one person is different to the next. all opinions of course. bloody love you Brady. Brilliant job. So happy for you -

Oxford v Birmingham Thursday 14th March

Good match that. Enjoyed it despite the conditions. leaving the track and not touching it is what’s needed when the base is rock hard but tracks wet. impressed by lampaart -

I did hear the match against us could be in doubt due to track but they have since had good weather so hopefully they have sorted it now. but it does seem weird they have not put any pictures up of the finished track yet. when is your P&P btw -

NKI completes the line up. LINE-UP: Fredrik Lindgren, Max Fricke, Dan Bewley, Luke Becker, Brady Kurtz, Jaimon Lidsey, Jason Doyle, Celina Liebmann, Connor Mountain, Norick Blodorn, Robert Lambert, Maciej Janowski. Connor Bailey, Ben Cook, Chris Harris, Niels-Kristian Iversen. not really a premium line up as it’s stated with the rise in prices. But a decent line up. -
