  1. I'm not sure. It'll be interesting to see what happens. I think Adams and Hancock will definitely be battling it out for third place over all. I really hope the British lads have a good meeting. I'm supporting Richardson in his bid to grab an automatic top eighth place, but Hampel, Bjarne Pedersen and Andersen will be snapping at his heels. I can understand why some people are less enthuisastic about this meeting. Perhaps some of the riders will be less focused because they know they're guaranteed automatic entry into next year's GP series. Anyway, good luck to Nicholls, Richardson and Loram. Have a good one, lads!!! Potters Lass

    It's the Final Countdown!!!

Come off it Whacko! British speedway's hardly dead and buried. So what if individually our British riders aren't as good as Hancock, Rickardsson, Crumpy etc? We're brill as Team GB - just look at the World Cup this year! Britain second and the Aussies...? We were unlucky in the final. There's quite a few up and coming British starlets, like James Wright, Daniel King, Eddie Kennett etc, so don't be going along to that funeral just yet! Potters Lass

So Crumpy decided to race for Oz. Now I know. Well all I can say is it was ultimately his decision. Potters Lass

    It's the Final Countdown!!!

I don't really understand where you're coming from? Crumpy was lovely when I met him earlier this year. It's not as though speedway has only one potential World Champ, Rickardsson's proven he still might have what it takes, the same as Hancock and Adams. Ones for the future must include Andersen, Bjarne Pedersen and Jaroslaw Hampel. I love my speedway. This is the first year that I've really gotten into the international side of the sport and I've really enjoyed watching the GPs. Potters Lass
  5. It's finally gonna happen...Crumpy's gonna be King of the World! And about blinkin' time too! Potters Lass

    Well Done Crumpy

I'm really pleased for Crumpy. After being runner-up on more than one occasion in recent years, he's basically got the cat in the bag. I was fortunate enough to meet him in March at Jan Staechmann's Juiblee. It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy! Potters Lass
  7. Hey there, I set my video to record the coverage of the Slovenian GP at the ungodly time of 4.25am. I did everything right, but for some reason or another it failed to record. Anyone else have this problem? Potters Lass
  8. Hey there! Must say that I've really enjoyed this year's Grand Prix series, it's been one of the best in the last few years. And after Rickardsson grabbed victory a fortnight ago, I think the list of potential winners is pretty vast. Gollob is bound to ride well as is Andreas Jonsson. Rickardsson has received a major confidence boost while you can always rely on Adams, Crumpy, Hancock, Pedersen and now it seems Hans Andersen to entertain. I would say that this is one Grand Prix that isn't over until it's over. Potters Lass
  9. Newsflash! Rickardsson is back! Nice to see the master nab his first victory in this year's GP series. Many have criticised Tony and well and truly stamped on his "sell-by-date", but something tells me the geezer still has something to offer. Crumpy remains my fave for the World Championship, but the race for second spot is really heating up between Hancock and Rickardsson. I wouldn't fancy choosing between the two. One rider who has disappointed me a little bit this season is Leigh Adams. After his performances in the Elite League for Swindon, I just would've expected him to have had more of an impact on the GP standings. Anyone else agree? And I can't believe Hans Andersen either! He's had two unbelievable meetings after gaining 23 points from his previous five GP meetings! Butterfly
