And FAR less riders

Wouldn't that also be the case if a decent Swede, Brit, Aussie, Ruskie or Yank wanted a ride? By your own admission, Newcastle appear to be up the creek without a paddle!!
-
Many thanks.

Has anyone got any news on who is the final rider for Scunthorpe this year?
-
It would be very interesting to hear Jon Cook's side of this story, as I'm convinced Stuart Douglas would unaware of any such goings on at his club!!
-
Bill Maxwell who rode for Berwick in 1969 has sadly passed away. RIP
-
This was certainly the case when Sky covered EL meetings, and I'm almost certain BT also compensated the staging track.

It won't be the BSPA, it's now in the hands of the SCB.

Chris Morton will he get involved in speedway again.?
KevH replied to Sidney the robin's topic in Years Gone By
Would he be allowed any official involvement in the future? -
I believe that the television rights for football over the next few years are being announced next week? I'm sure BT have given priority to this and the speedway deal will be revealed in good time (sometime after).

According to Peter Oakes, there is big news about 'Lakeside 2018' in tomorrow's Speedway Star.

Kasprzak and Morley announced, with Sedgmen heading out of the door.
-
A proper cock up all round then
-
Kenny Wennerstam?

You have just underlined the root cause of the demise of speedway in Great Britain......and exposed the BSPA who have allowed/encouraged it to happen.
-
That doesn't mean Leicester couldn't retain the same team.......you are assuming the riders would remain at their current Championship teams, whereas they could choose to represent the Lions, and Nilsson might want to ride in the Championship! The fact is, Leicester COULD retain the same team if they were relegated.

With respect, he's hardly a complete unknown. Anyone who follows speedway in Sweden will tell you what a talent he is. Remember that Tommy Jansson, Anders Michanek, Tony Rickardsson and Peter Karlsson were all "complete unknowns" at one time.

Why?
