  1. Ritchards average is just under 8 with the 2.5% reduction.
  2. Cough - Plymouth - May is there any new 2.00 coming up through the system that would be any better? I honestly don’t know. Maybe there is someone but would they score more than Nathan?
  3. He has so much potential and natural talent, that’s the sad thing. Hope he can get his head in the right place for 2023.
  4. Understand it’s 40 from what I was told last night?
  5. Pretty sure the ink has dried on that contract. Can we keep the top 3 under the point limit? King, Worrall, Lawson, Ben & Zach, Complin and Ablitt?
  6. To be fair Skidder it started well before heat 14! His body language wasn’t the best after his third ride and just got worse, no excuses for not being out on track with the boys after heat 12, before the heat 14 antics.
  7. Fingers crossed! Cook brothers are a must for 2023. Hoping we can keep top 3 and maybe only see 1 change. All down to the limit now, let’s hope it’s 40 or 41.
  8. What a night and well done to the Pirates! The travel up was worth every mile. Like Steve said earlier, back home by 1pm so not bad at all. Echo the comments on Drew, what was he thinking! After heat 12 he was the only one not on the track celebrating with the TEAM and to make it worse after heat 15 when medals where being handed out he wasn’t even on the track at that point, the lad needs to grow up and fast. He may never win another team title so he should have been celebrating and enjoying the experience. Don’t want him back at Poole in 2023 and clearly I think his attitude last night pretty much confirmed that. anyway what a night you mighty Pirates!!
  9. Well surely all this should have been put into consideration! We can all see rain is due over next few days.
  10. It looks like Buster has worked his magic and got the track back into shape! Think he will be required on Friday too to stop any last-minute issues depending on amount of rain over next 4 days! So, will Howarth be available now and will Morris be in the side?
  11. Sounds like some talking still to be done.
  12. Leicester should be apologising to the fans of both Poole and Leicester for this absolute **** show. If the track was graded off early last week after the initial call off the meeting would have gone ahead! Taking it down to the base taking off all the slop, leave it to breath, if it rained again it would have simply run off (as long as their drains are decent to take the water away) the rain wouldn’t of remained in the track as no material for it to stick too. A day before the meeting start laying the new surface, let’s face it buster has done it in 2 hours before so proves can be done with good planning and correct machinery - again no one else’s fault but Leicester for not organising this sooner. They will be hit on the gate now as less will travel with no coach on offer. I would imagine now the BSPA will be monitoring track works but they should have been doing this a week ago.
  13. Weather isn’t the fault of the authorities. Planning is though! And all clubs must share the responsibility of what is now happening, delay meetings due to riders being unfit etc hasn’t helped. Lesson’s must be learnt but like year on year they never are and I’m sure in 2023 this will happen again.
  14. Motorway blade now coming in and track to be re-laid. Why wasn’t this done 8 days ago after initial rain off? funny how I suggested this late last week and certain fans in the midlands shot me down for even suggesting it!
  15. Club have just called - it’s off. No re-staging date and no coach planned for re-run! Clearly some discussions going on behind closed doors currently.
  16. So why oh why don’t they just do that after 3 call offs? I do hope Poole are asking these questions.
  17. Oh! So Masters will be riding then.
  18. Surely Morris will have to delay his leaving date?
  19. Absolute joke. I guess this is due to the rain that could be coming this afternoon?
  20. Not confident this will even happen tomorrow either!
  21. Like I have said before. This isn’t a hard fix! Scape off the wet surface and put down fresh dry material. This should have been planned at the weekend knowing what was coming up this weekend and Monday at Leicester. Clearly the material they are using at the moment is too heavy and can’t take a decent amount of rain like other tracks can.
  22. Clearly the material is so thick it isn’t drying, unless this is scrapped of completely and fresh put down I doubt that we will be seeing a meeting on Saturday again. I guess they probably don’t want to scrape the surface off as then all home track advantage is lost.
  23. Nicholls in for Howarth tonight

    POOLE 2023

I would imagine Lawson is already signed up for 2023 - 7.97 average is a bargain for him.
  25. Pirates Of Poole

    POOLE 2023

He has an official average with Plymouth of 3.08 in October - 2.5% British reduction.
