  1. There has been no confirmation yet but if the British GP at Cardiff is sponsored again by FIAT there is perhaps an ideal opportunity for a guest of honour, a true great. Confirmation is due in the next couple of days that Valentino Rossi's MotoGP Yamaha team will be sponsored by FIAT in '07. With that company link in mind, what an ideal scenario for the great man to be flown from that days MotoGP round at Assen after the race, straight to Cardiff, for the roof to open and his helicopter to land on the centre green. Now that would be a spectacular entrance and an unbelievable start to the evening. Vale is a known fan of speedway, he actually tried it before deciding to stick with motorcycle racing. And he lives in London anyway so will be coming back to the UK after racing in Holland. I'm sure he wouldn't mind a little detour via Cardiff!! COME ON BSI, MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!
  2. Firstly, when he did what he did, he had only just come out of turn two and on to the back straight, so would not have been near enough to turn three for him to feel that 'he may have been going in to the corner too fast'. Secondly, although the Danes and Swedes have a rivalry, they would rather a fellow Scandinavian country win than anybody else. In Euro 2004, the Danes and Swedes played out a rather convenient 3-3 draw that was the only result that would put out the Italians!! The football world was rife with accusations of one nation helping the other one. So it is not the first time these two friendly nations have helped each other!
  3. Well, if lifting off of the throttle and looking across for PK to go past and then getting back on the gas again is not clear cut, I don't know what is!!!
  4. Purely a case of Scandinavians sticking together! He did lift off and influenced the race. End of story!
  5. When you deliberately lift off to influence the result of the World Cup final and then deny you did any such thing when everybody saw it with their own eyes....well.....as I said. What goes around comes around.
  6. It has taken a while Hans, but what goes around comes around!!
  7. Rickardsson is probably one of the greatest riders Speedway has ever seen but he does have his little 'moments' where he is not as fair as people make him out to be and you think to yourself 'Your so good, you don't need to do that'. Elbowing Hampel a prime example (and how it got away with that I will never know!!) but also at Cardiff this year when he went down way too easily for my liking when challenged on the inside. In football that's a professional dive and a yellow card. He should have been excluded for that and may then have struggled to reach the final eight but because he is the main man in Speedway he seems to get away with a lot more than he should. Same with Schumacher in Formula One. And the more he gets away with it, the more he will do it!!

    Gb Team In The Final

Has to be Loram for Screeny. The final is in Poland and he is not called Loramski for nothing!! Screen was off the pace towards the end of the meeting. Harris and Stead were awesome and so was Floppy's commentary!!!

    Juniors At Cardif

Can't wait to see Bridger v Auty!! Go Lewis!!
  10. The waiting is finally over. The GP's are back!! I think the new format is the best thing that could have happened to the series. So who is going to get to the final tonight? I'm going for: Jason Crump (World Champ again this year) Tony Rickardsson (Desperate for his title back) Tomasz Gollob (After all, it is in Poland tonight!!) Hans Andersen (Dark horse for the title?) What does everyone else think?
