King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions
Najjer replied to SpeedwayFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Out of interest, is it Buster who is still financing Kings Lynn speedway or is there somebody else involved now funds wise? ps. I think this is a great looking side, especially at home. -
What the F is Buster on. Bloody embarrassing. Why is he always having a sulk after an event instead of being honest at the time? I really feel for Peterborough having lost my own team before but Buster is basically a liability to any speedway team

Higher levels of testosterone - resulting in greater body endurance
-
That is an interesting one - I wonder why not? Paul Pogba in football has failed a recent drugs test and straight away it’s been reported what he’s taken and what it the effects can be.

Peterborough -8 tonight for me

That’s 1 too many and 1 more than it should be for a ‘professional sport’ -

Considering the number of failures already this season alone, they probably aren’t turning up enough! -
To make £12 what sort of stakes are you laying for that? You must of had a large amount on the exact score vs the under points total - so much so, that if the unders came in you’d of been throwing a large amount on the exact score away.

It’s interesting the Holder-bashing too - he is well out of form in Poland and it’s pretty clear that he isn’t able to mix it at the top table like he did when he was world champion, however… it was only last year when he was flying for Ostrow for much of the year. He is without doubt a confidence based rider so if he can start off well then he might do okay…. Assuming the track isn’t wet
-
Nonsense - it’s sport and it’s a competition. Sheffield have made changes to make sure they are as competitive as they deem that they can be. That goes for any job in the UK. If somebody isn’t performing as they should, they don’t have a god given right to keep that job over a foreigner because of their nationality. That is irrelevant if they aren’t meeting the required standards.

Does UK speedway need a new televised product?
Najjer replied to truthsayer's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
In addition to what you have said, even the Poles don’t support individual events other than the main Polish Championship. Anything that isnt their team they aren’t interested. I watched one of the events at Poznan earlier this year and Buxton probably got bigger crowds than that one. -
With some of the decisions made and resulting outcomes, you had me fooled….
-
Whilst I agree with your first 2 paragraphs, the last one is complete nonsense. Zmarzlik could pull wonders riding round a toilet seat and would cope just fine. For those comparing Laguta and Emil, Artem has always been very much a supreme gater and then take off type rider. Even in Poland it’s not often you see him charging from the back like Emil does, so it’s no surprise to see that same trend continue over to here. Both Artem and Emil are supremely talented but there is no doubt that Artem is less suited to some of the current tracks in the Premiership. Watching Laguta round the likes of Somerset and Scunthorpe he would of been just fine, like he was at Kings Lynn, Belle Vue etc

Not sure that’s true - they were within a sniff of staying up but a combo of the track issues, losing KK and replacing him with somebody who can’t score a point and Swidnicki who looked an okay signing forgetting how to ride a bike this year hasn’t helped their cause. -
Not to mention he’s an Eskraliga heat leader who also has an accurate 6.50 average over here in the Premiership too. It does seem a little barmy
-
He’ll be required by Bydgoszcz

I completely get the play offs and am a massive fan of them - but it has to be for the top 4 sides to have complete merit. -

Polish Speedway get so much right but this format is a bigger joke than British Speedway. Torun have lost both of their play off matches and then still advance to the semi finals. I bet there isn’t a single sport in the world where you can lose 100% of your play off matches and then still advance. -

I think it was the wrong decision to exclude Lambert. Pawlicki appeared to his usual trick when room starts to run out and cause a bit of a crash so he can get a rerun. Obviously we only saw it once with no replays offered up but I thought Pawlicki lost control way after Lambert came by him. Really glad to see Wozniak make the cut as he’s been knocking on the door for a couple of years. A really hard trier and won’t be pushed about so think he could mix it well. On the other hand was a shame to see Shamek miss out to Kvech who will likely get a GP spot now too. On a side note, I think Wozniak qualifying (and my hope for Kubera to get a wildcard) could spell the end for Dudek in the GPs -
You’re right, whilst he is saying idiotic things in the press he can’t win. We are supposed to believe a meeting has been cancelled for tonight on the same day that Robert Lambert has just signed. If he spoke a few more truths then he could win.

There isn’t enough Championship riders for Championship teams (hence why some of them started the year with 6 rider teams) without added teams from the Premiership
-
But that’s a joke in itself - they only made a half arsed announcement yesterday. Just get it right the first time!
-
As has been proven on a number of times, there is not enough riders for that to happen.
