Which is what JYe said. He probably left his car at stanstead  and was going to drive up. And I know for sure in past Jason always travels to belle Vue in his own car when

So, Mark Seabright doesn't collect him there from Marks Reading base, just wondering..

Im on Doyles side on this one, not one to miss a meeting anywhere without good reason..

Son of Martin Peter Hagon (born: 25 December 1961, Hackney, London, England); Grandson of Alfred Joseph Hagon.

He's also the son of Charlotte Hagon, Bob Dugard's daughter who is the sister of Martin and Paul Dugard.

    Comes from good speedway stock.

Must be talking about eastville in the 1970’s?,Regular 12000 crowds when it ran I think

So, 50 years ago is the modern era and it only lasted 2 years?

Also Eastville was sold to Tesco and Ikea..

Kyle Newman testimonial is now cancelled, because of rider availability

It's not been cancelled, as Skidder has said, it's been postponed due to rider availability.

Hopefully a new date in the summer can be arranged and well deserved for Kyle.

Lillebror Johansson? He rode in the same season as Hammerberg and Ring. Eastbourne had a really strong top 4 of Kennett, Moran, Preston and Woods, but unfortunately none of the Swedish imports or Dave Kennett were able to give sufficient backing.

True, Lillebror came in mid season and did a season and a half, looked good in places.

What a top four though, GK, Kelly and Ron as a top 3...

Hope the evening plans are moving along ok and the interest is still there for the Eagles. Distance and grandchildren babysitting unfortunately curtails me coming, but hope all the effort MD and others put in keeps the club in the public eye.

Assume the Arlington situation is still the same with no chance of a return in the future?

It's more the other three from the consortium these days than myself.

Michael Gray, Steve Chantler and David Graveling have far more input than myself due to my work commitments but Im still playing a small part.

Kyle Newman and Eddie Kennett added to the guests.

Nathan definitely improved last year after a very difficult 2022 with Poole in which he stepped into a strong Pirates team well before he was ready for the Championship.

He's worthy of a reserve spot in the league this year.

A factor to take into account with Nathan was he was Eastbourne trained from a kid, he had that home advantage taken away from him and was brave to take the Poole gig on.

Looked far better towards the end of last season, Ian Jordan cost him a year of his progress as IMO he would have done better confidence wise with Arlington as his home base.

I rate the lad, good luck to him..
