I think that it's more to do with the fact that he picked up a cheap gold medal for BV last year and planned on doing the same thing for Sheffield this year. It's like it was going to become a tradition for him to slot in with the favourites for the semis and the final. What Del boy would call a 'nice little earner'.

Dullest Grand Prix that I have seen this year. Half of the heats had riders in making up the numbers, therefore no interest in the outcome of the heats The only fortunate thing was watching it on catch up that cut out 2 hours of 'nothing to see here' It's a one man GP series might as well give it Zmarzlik now and call it a do.

I wonder how a new British supporter, who saw this, would react if they went to a run of the mill British speedway meeting demanding more of the same?
