Doyle for example struggled for pace there last year by his own admission and even when he made the gate, he was soon swallowed up by the likes of Kurtz and Lidsey. Set up is just as important at big fast tracks as it is for small technical ones. The Belle Vue boys are very very quick around their home track and if you’re a visiting rider there and struggling for pace, you’ll very quickly get found out.
There are some tracks where you can pop out of the gate and keep faster riders behind you by being clever with the lines you take and acting as a roadblock. You have absolutely zero chance of doing that at the NSS.
Spot on. Couldn't 'like' as I've lost that ability.

That interview looked like utter balls. Period of consultation? Who is running that and when did it start/plan to end - what about all the feedback on the planning applications, is that not counted?

No, I can react fine using my phone, it's using a computer which doesn't work - I'll try a different browser - tried using microsoft edge and doesn't work on that either

Looking like an uncomfortable season for Birmingham if that's their team. Expect changes mid season.

I thought it was a shame that they didn't keep that up. I liked it.
Yes, I'd enjoy that too and it's give some exposure to the bands as well so not that expensive.

I've tried to ignore that.

At the speedway show I did see CVS talking to Stoney and Les Collins, maybe there are places at Birmingham for them?

Consistency is the key. This is what makes Hans Nielsen the greatest of all time for me.

1. Ipswich
2. King's Lynn
3. Sheffield
4. Oxford
5. Belle Vue
6. Leicester
7. Birmingham

The question marks would be over the three Poles.
You wouldn't, you're a Lynn fan aren't you Should be a good season for KL next year but I'm sure Birmingham will have a stronger line-up than the has-been poles.

Lampart

No consistency. All of them blow hot and cold. 60 pts one week, 25 the next.

Yep.

The suggested/predicted teams here for Oxford look weak to me.

Would've preferred Wright but never mind, I go to watch Doyle!

Really? Never has at Ipswich or at meetings I've seen on TV, in fact quite the opposite!

Oh so another rider in Ellis that WANTS to ride for Ipswich.... wonder of he doing it for his or the fans benefit?
Not who I'd want either - in fact falling often wasn't really unpredictable!
-
For me it's not about race results at all. I find Danny very difficult to support - considering how long he's been around he should be able to team ride, especially as captain. Time for someone more exciting/unpredictable.

1 hour ago, foreverblue said:Completely disagree, Cook is on the up but King is far better currently especially at Ipswich
I never said he was better, I'm not interested in that. My preference is to watch riders with the qualities Ben has rather than Danny.

he scored 5+3 riding reserve and 5+1, 4+2 riding at 4 and 2 in his Foxhall visits last year and his gsa only 1.05 less than king huge downgrade that for very little gain elsewhere in team building.
Yep, he is on the up, knows how to ride inside and outside and pass people, plus team ride - much more engaging to watch.

Barker the only signing for Plymouth so far. Hearing Continental riders of middle order not interested in the U.K. due to Brexit, distance and little value.
Good, will force them to look closer to home to entice and build our pool of riders

A high turn out with plenty of noise is vital, a poor turn out & that plays right into the developers hands.
Good luck to all involved
I agree but when you say people, there are many people who want it to survive but who aren't based near Peterborough but who might be going to the show - it's not that far away so was simply flagging, as there could have been/could still be some linkage to maximise impact for the benefit of Peterborough.

But surely that's for a re-declaration, not for a replacement to the originally declared rider?
