Do behave fella. Unfortunately Starman does antagonise at times with juvenile posts which have the same long running and boring theme. However, I do agree there are a few posters who specifically target this and use it as ammunition. But as far as I can see it's only handbags at dawn stuff, nothing more.

Nothing changes, such a shame as you are capable of so much better as you've proved to me elsewhere. I'm beginning to wonder if you really do believe all the nonsense you come out with as nobody could maintain it for so long..!! If anybody thinks or believes that Matt Ford has not settled on what riders he wants for 2015 (bearing in mind he's this fantastic promoter who is always one step ahead of everyone else - ring any bells Starman?) then they are deluded. Of course he's probably got a couple of different line ups pencilled in depending upon the outcome of Darcy's hearing, however I am pretty sure every rider on the list will have been spoken to. My reckoning is that we won't see Noddy, Milik, Magic or Pawlicki sign for anyone (other than Poole) until Darcy's fate has been set as 3 of these are likely to be our spearhead in 2015. If Darcy gets 'off' then I reckon we'll sign him, Noddy and Milik. If Darcy gets a ban, then it may be Noddy, Milik and Magic (if he wants to ride over here) and if not Pawlicki. On a personal note I'd love to see Little Leon Madsen back at Poole as that lad has some talent and never really had a chance to shine before averages forced him out.

No not at all. Maybe that was a poor choice of phrase...it's plain to see that he would benefit from some moral guidance rather than being defended and having excuses made from the club management on his past misdemeanours. That is what I was trying to infer.

I don't think I will on both accounts. I thought that he might take a little more notice if a fellow Pirate told him the obvious, however as you say he will never get it as anything posted which he doesn't like or agree with is labelled 'anti Poole'. He's become a bit of an embarassment to many of us which is why I thought I'd have a go at trying to get through to the fella, but alas no joy. For what it's worth my thoughts are that the length of time the FIM are taking to get the hearing date in place is criminal itself! As I said previously, I'd love Darcy to be one of our 1-5 in 2015, however if he isn't then we just have to move on and hope this is the incident which gives him the wake up call he so desperately needs! Personally I agree that any ban he may receive (be it 6 months, 12 months or longer) should be served during the speedway season and not the closed season as that will hit home far harder. And believe me that hurts to say as he's part of our speedway family and losing him for some or much of next year will without a doubt affect on our season....but he has got to learn, and learn fast. At bit of discipline from within the club wouldn't go amiss too...are you reading Middlo and co?

You are the first poster (since KKS and all his aliases) I have considered putting on ignore (which is a pretty sad thing to be said bearing in mind we are both huge Poole Pirates supporters) as you go on and on and on and on and on and on banging out the same line time and time again. My advice to all is just ignore Starman's posts as he's just as much of a wally on our own Poole Pirates Forum. I find it quite embarrasing as a lifelong Poole fan that one of our own just keeps on posting the same old lines time and time again with his complete and utter inane defence of Matt Ford, Middlo and anything Poole related. Starman a little advice from a fellow Pirate - get a blooming grip on reality and stop with the constant same old, same old. And here's a newsflash for you...not everything posted on here is an attack on Poole Pirates so PLEASE for the love of God STOP saying that it is. If you can do that and join in with the banter (which a lot of it is) and start posting something worth reading then I strongly suggest you will enjoy this forum so much more And to bring things back onto thread...I personally do hope Darcy rides for Poole in 2015 for purely speedway reasons as he's just unbelieveable to watch week in and week out, however I do not agree with what he's done so if he does indeed get a (fully deserved) ban then so be it and we move on. Any sensible speedway fan will have similar opinion. Are you goint to tell ME that's a Poole thing Starman???

I don't know why I bother...and I can fully understand why folk leave. Ask yourself one question...am I proud of myself for abusing, offending and namecalling a fellow poster? If you're answer is yes then I feel so very sorry for you. If no, then for the love of God prove yourself to be the better person! To be fair Gavan, you and Stevebrum pretty much slate Matt Ford, Middlo and Poole Speedway at every opportunity you get. However I do agree that occasionally you both have valid points which, more often than not, tend to receive pretty negative responses and that I suggest is due to the above. It would be good for all if you both maybe softened your postings a touch rather than writing to antagonise which is what appears to happen. On the flipside of the coin, I also know that there are a couple of Poole supporters on here who are complete wallies and they also need to think before they post as a lot of embarrasing nonsense continually trots out of their keyboards too! I say the above as a very passionate Poole supporter who used to enjoy this forum, but it has now become a playground for insults, abuse and namecalling - all of which belong elsewhere! So come on guys, lets get this forum back to the healthy and welcoming place it used to be with lots of sensible discussion and banter. Who's in?

I am Poole through and through and I fail to see how we have 'fairly and rightfully' signed Compton as a replacement for BJ. Surely all Poole supporters must feel the same in light of the facts that have been presented. Nobody at the club, the BSPA or the SCB have had the courtesy to explain things and until somebody does then all that we can do is look at the known facts - and that unfortunately doesn't look good. And Starman2006, for the love of God please give it up! You're not only embarrassing yourself but your also embarrassing all of us Poole supporters who are listening to the facts presented.
