Had to say I was one of the many who doubted if Bomber would make any impact in the GPs but he has worked so hard and has proved to us all that he has the talent to be right at the top. That last race was the best I have ever seen. Great to see a Brit challenging the best in the world, long may it continue!!!

Yeah tis certainly a BIG season for Bomber Harris. He's made a good start to 2007 and the GP Series just hope he can keep it up.

Meeting report AJ looked ok, most impressed with James Wright. Rode really well in his first three races. He can score plenty of points for us at home from the reserve slot, thats for sure. -
British Selection For 2007

Sorry but picking Loram or Louis would be a backward step for British Speedway. Stead or Harris have to get a go, not sure how either of them would do though. If Crumpy was to contiue helping Stead like he has at BV then maybe he could be competitive. -
Good ride by Hancock in the final glad he pulled off the win, he deserves to be second in the standings. He is a true racer and nice man to boot. Hope he gets on the podium in the final standings.

Belle Vue Greggs Junior Championship
605ts replied to Rob B's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
One of the best meeting of the year. The track was in good nick and the lads rode it well. Woffinden and Auty looked brilliant for 15 years of age!! Shame Woffindens an Aussie but hey well! Both would be very welcome at Belle Vue in coming years. -
Arise Hans Andersen, a thoroughly deserved win tonight. Something tells me he may have been trying to prove a point tonight!! Crump - same as always does enough to get to Semi Finals then turns it on, second was still a great result. Bjarne - rode well, will be looking for more GPs like that. Adams - story of his career; promised so much, rode really well but not when it mattered! Nicholls and Richardson - well done for making the semis but both had last choice of gates, may as well start 15 metres back if your last to chose gate at either Cardiff or Copenhagen. Lindback - I have always thought highly of him, he has such potential! Best of the young bunch coming through at the minute for me. Rickardsson - (I will put as much effort in as he is doing this year) he rode....

605ts's thoughts on Cardiff - Crump good but flippin lucky! That makes up for last year though. Pedersen - dire, made all the more better by the fact we were sat just behind a set of Eastbourne fans! Rickardsson - can't be arsed. Hancock - still got it, unfortunate in final, best rider in the conditions. Nicholls - glad he got to the Semi's but knew he wouldn't get any further. Rico - certainly tried hard, better than the last GP at least. Fireworks - brilliant. Atmosphere - awesome. Juniors - on too early, should have been on after Bonnie Langford or Tyler whatever she was called. Tony Christie - GENIUS. Beer - that Brains stuff is top notch! POLES - brilliant, I love you all! Especially the guys who ran round the third tier on the third bend all night waving flags around. Loved watching them walk down the streets of Cardiff with all the locals not knowing what to do!

Protasiewicz was dire. Plus he showed his lack of quality by turning his bike over doing a practise start on the back straight. Has this ever been seen before in a GP? Got to feel for Hans Andersen, he is a very good rider and should be in over Iversen or PP! I would even prefer a young rider to replace Protasiewicz, Kasprzak or Lindgren for instance.

World U21 Qualifier (sheffield).

CLASSIC! -
Why thank you! I understand its only the second GP. I thought Crump would win tonight as he has broken the track record twice at Wroclaw this season. He has had a blistering start to the season and if he keeps it up it will take an amazing rider to catch him, saying that in all fairness Rickardsson is one of the best if not the best rider ever to jump on a speedway bike.

Thought this may help you out - sense of humour n : the trait of appreciating (and being able to express) the humorous; "she didn't appreciate my humor"; "you can't survive in the army without a sense of humor" [syn: humor, humour, sense of humor] Good to see Stevehone's got one.

WHERE IS HE????? Here Shovvy Shovvy Shovvy..... I have to admit the only reason I came on here tonight was to see the world famous Mr S eating his words and squirming after tonight's GP. And he's not here! What a joke!
-
Oh yeah cos Crumps never pushed Rickardsson has he? He's only been runner up 5 times!

Last year at the World Cup we went with: Joe Screen Simon Stead Lee Richardson Scott Nicholls Chris Harris Can anyone remember why we had no Mark Loram? Has he stopped riding for GB or was he overlooked or injured?
