  1. Dust.......Timekeeping..........with all due respect, both you & Old Bob no longer seem to be enjoying Speedway. Time for another sport?
  2. Along as he keeps banging in the maximums, who cares if he arrives fashionably late?

He'd make a bloody mess of your back garden....

It's been sunshine & showers since midday. Forecast is dry from now. Can't believe there'll be any problems tonight.

    Eastbourne 2019

Great result for Jason Edwards at the IOW. Hopefully one for the future.

    Eastbourne 2019

Great news indeed. Would also love to see Charlie Brooks & Jason Edwards in eagles colours in the future.

    Play off contenders

Here's another vote for the Silver Helmet. (Wouldn't exactly be too difficult to organise, would it?...).

    Eastbourne 2019

Richard Lawson has signed for Ipswich. I assume Prem clubs get priority over Championship?

    All Clubs are For Sale

"Eastbourne?" ! I note the question mark, but where did you get that from?
  12. I've genuinely always thought you talk a lot of sense (& still do), adz_mft. I know all teams have been known to pull flankers & you're right about the footy thing - a poor decision (as many said at the time). But regarding tonight - it's stretching it just a tad for 4 riders to be "unavailable" & if so, Mildy would've surely known days ago. Worth mentioning perhaps that Eastie are going to Buxton & Stoke just 3 days before the seasons end, ensuring those teams won't be financially penalised. The matches against Mildy have been a highlight this season & looking at the bigger picture it would be grim if they or any other team folded. Some radical decisions need to be made this winter for the whole of the sport.
  13. Big achievement - however, if we'd had 2 heat leaders injured, we'd surely have lost. Strategy, but with luck too..... As an aside - I'm hoping the league next season will be more evenly balanced.

    Coventry v Eastbourne Play Offs.

Really hope its not the end for the Bees.
