  3. Crump as captain please Pete. As a side note, having started this game a few years back I know how much of a ball-ache it can be updating it manually. I dont have any code writing skills so simply had to update it manually, and you simply dont have time to do it straight away, which is why i gave up after the first year. When people moan about the scores not being done they have to realise that whoever is running it is taking time out of their personal lives to do it for the whole forums entertainment. It's going to take time to do. It's only a bit of fun, so does it really matter if the scores aren't updated straight away? If you want instant updates, run the game yourself. I really can't believe it affects the forum too much if we have a thread for each round. If it does, then surely once the scores have been updated we can just delete the previous rounds thread? Or is that too simple for the mods who seem to be on somewhat of a power trip
  4. Ignore my previous captain post please. Crump as captain

    Wildcards 2010

Oh. My. God. i like Eddie as a rider, but he isnt G.P standard. He's nowhere near as good as Nicholls and Harris, and they both failed dismally this year. The only advantage he'd have over those two is he is better from the gate, and may on slick tracks be able to hang on if he gets out front, similar to what Ulamek has done a few times this year
  10. I think Tai will get a nomination, but if i was him I'd take the Holder route. He isnt as good as Holder was at this point last year, and one more year will not do him any harm. However he may want to take it in the hope that his Dad will have a better chance of seeing him in the G.P's and therefore take the chance if offered. Richardson is the only brit who should be considered for next year imo. I'm not a big fan of him, but apart from his last season in the G.P's he didnt do too badly, plus a major benefit is the fact he can gate.
  11. Got to be Rico for me. Although I think Nicholls is Britains best rider, he doesnt deserve another wildcard after this years dismal efforts. Harris isnt good enough, Woffinden isn't good enough yet. He will be but needs a few more seasons, Kennett and Bridger aren't good enugh. Richardson is performing better than ever, and apart from his last season he actually did quite well in the G.P's.

    Grand Prix Challenge.

Gustafsson - born 25/05/1990 Woffinden - born 10/08/1990 I like Gustafsson, but to say we dont have an equivalent, when Woffinden is performing much better than him is a pretty blinkered view

    Grand Prix Challenge.

I've had him at 14-1 e/w. Thought he was by far the best value available

    Grand Prix Challenge.

I was looking forward to the meeting at the start of the season, but the line-up and the price of tickets just doesnt inspire me to go i'm afraid. Especially this close to payday My prediction is Lindgren Holder Davidsson With Harris and Hampel to just miss out
  15. Wouldnt imagine so. Clean Cut Sports are filming it exclusively i think. No doubt Ballinger will be able to confirm this.
  16. BEES OFFICAL SUPPORTERS CLUB - STATEMENT Thursday 09 July 2009 THE Elite League Pairs will not now be taking place at Eastbourne on Saturday August 8. Although Bees are now there in the Elite League on that date, due to the events that took place last time at Arlington, we have decided NOT to run a coach. Anyone who has already paid should contact us at the BOSS kiosk on Friday. There is still a coach going to Lakeside on August 22 and when the new date and venue for the pairs is decided we will look at doing a trip there. Taken from the bees website.... I was at this meeting and can't think of anything major happening that would provoke this sort of reaction. Surely it's not solely due to Bob Dugards rant before the meeting?
  17. Out - 7 Hans Andersen In - 4 Greg Hancock cheers pete Also can I have Greg as my captain at Cardiff please? (same as earlier post but in correct format)
  18. Out - Hans Andersen In - Greg Hancock cheers pete
  19. AJ's practice before the Danish Grand Prix was really short this time. Andreas decided to withdraw after three series of rides due to sickness. I have got a fever - says AJ - and I'm feeling really, really bad. It's probably some kind of flu. I have a sore throat and some problems with my ears. It has a bad influence on my sense of balance. My rides today might have looked like I was drunk! In this situation Mirek and Sebastian could only pack the stuff while AJ was resting in the van. The team's manager, Dawid, came to the Parken stadium late because his flight from Bydgoszcz was delayed due to bad weather conditions. The weather in Denmark is rainy and unless Parken had a roof, tomorrow's meeting would be rained off probably... The above was taken from AJ's website. Hope he's felling better tonight and is able to ride
  20. Jonnson as Captain for Denmark please Pete
  21. Decent meeting last night. Kennett move on Harris was sublime and worthy of receiving the wildcard for that race alone. Richardson looked good until he came up against a very determined Nicholls in his last qualifying heat, Nicholls took him out wide and he appeared to go in a sulk, just as he did when Eddie beat him on Monday, and appeared to still be affected by it in the final. Enough has been said on Nicholls by myself on various different threads, but last night in his first 3 rides he was very upright, and looked more like himself when beating Richardson. Bridger was very poor to not get a point in his last heat to get into the semi's, and looked a bit clueless when he missed the gate. and onto Harris. Congratulations. Deserved winner. But he owes the bees some big performances now. Rarely this season has he looked so pumped up after winning races as he did last night. And whilst it was good to see, it did kind of reaffirm my opinion that he has become very self indulgent lately
