Last season, Terry did a terrific job of getting the track in a raceable condition.
Personally, I think, B'ham's track has notoriously been one of the most fairest/most neutral in the country and that dates back to the 70's at the old PB !
We have minimal home advantage...IMO!
Terry was there pre-season and a few times in the season when not at Poole and it was John Priest doing a great job on the track week in week out

I usually leave an hour earlier than usual and park in the shopping bit for a bite to eat but I shouldn't really have to. And the racing is ok at best..for all negative talk of leicesters track it produces way better racing than from what I've witnessed at Birmingham.
really?? Good racing and track was praised at Birmingham

45 minutes ago, foreverblue said:That sounds good, I usually arrive early enough to park in the car park , I would think the traffic won't improve until all the work has been done but it is a track that I enjoy visiting when Poole are there, usually the racing isn't bad and the food is pretty good too compared to other tracks I have visited.
work on road is all completed

it was at the football club and noise trials were held there with the Newport promotion involved

Aussies come in an assessed 4.00 --or 5.00 if they've ridden in professional leagues in Poland, Denmark or Sweden !!!

more like all the promoters have discussed it and agreed a rough level each will charge
-
2 hours ago, lisa-colette said:So Brum should only charge £20 if Prem prices are increasing imo. Bit cheeky overwise. But if people are prepared to pay it then fair enough.
think you will find all clubs will be increasing admission prices in 2023

ordered mine and had this e-mail:
Hope you are keeping well. Thank you for pre-ordering the Peter Collin’s autobiography.
Apologies the book will not be published until next month and the slight delay has been caused by the fact that we have added considerably more content (resulting in more pages) in terms of words and photographs – many only becoming available very recently.
(It’s amazing what PC has uncovered!).
We now hope and expect to be posting the book – signed by PC – before the end of October.
Very sorry for the wait. Many thanks for your patience and understanding. We believe the wait will be well worthwhile.

it was a challenge match to honour and remember Alan Grahame . Starke was a late withdrawal being unfit after his crash last week so R/R was on]y option and being a challenge no averages were used in what was a good entertaining meeting with a good crowd.

sums up speedway that really doesn’t it.
Paul Starke was injured last week and was due to make his comeback for this meeting but had to pull out late as not fit enough to race . A good entertaining meeting with a good crowd to honour and remember Alan Grahame
