As they are in the other team in the Final, Harris and Garrity should be banned from guesting. Only in British speedway can this happen. Crazy !
As long as you ban Troy as well, oh sorry that is different because he is guesting for Poole.
-
By the great one I assume you mean Swindon's legendary team manager Alun "Mighty" Rosco-tor. In which case your comments on trying to get meetings rained-off are as misguided as many others who come up with similar, ahem, "banter" without noticing that he maintained a consistent viewpoint in each of those rain affected meetings.
No he didn't. He wanted it called off after heat 9 then moaned like hell when it was called off after heat 10.

How can Coventry have a guest for Barker?
Havelock made it clear on Monday that Barker was fit but he wasn't sure about using him in the second leg.
That's fine if he doesn't want to use Barker, but there is no way they should be allowed a guest. Swindon should protest about this.
Oh dear are we getting worried now the track is going to be wet and showers during the meeting.
Replacing an Elite League heat leader with a Premier League Rider.
Never mind The Great One can try and have it called off after 9 heats.

If I recall correctly he pulled out of our meeting at Belle Vue to ride in a Swedish league match? So they gave him the boot and replaced him with Barker who did 3 rides then got injured leaving us only able to use PL guests as EL heat leaders.
For league match read play off meeting

Cradley rider didn't win? I'm guessing someone cheated right?
Yes the referee according to certain Cradley fans.
-
Biased or what, it was a few Wolves fans in the Crowd who were booing him.
And you posting that rubbish from Greaves was not being biased.
-
And here is what Nathan Greaves alleges happened, taken from his FB page.
Anyone who knows me and my dad personally know we would not cause any trouble, James was cheating over my gate at the start line and in the end I just moved to please him, I gated him and led him for three laps he caught my back wheel trying to pass me and fell off, then he came up to me and said abusive things and shoved his head in my face, so I pushed it away, then he kicked my bike and ran my dad over and knocked him to the floor, to knock a 16stone man to the floor you must be riding into them with force, then his mechanic grabbed me by the neck as I was running so I couldn't breath so my dad hit him, sadly he's unconcious but none of this would of happened if James didn't turn around and except he had fell off and I beaten him, then I went over to whoever was on the floor to see if he was okay and someone from the crowd shouts something about my dad so in temper I obviously react, just wanted to clear that up with everyone who now hates me.
And thats from the horses mouth so to speak, i myself do not condone such behavior, but there are certain circumstances surrounding this, which need to be investigated, Not only the riders, mechanics, but also the starting Marshall and referee, allegedly Nathan Greaves is being reported to the BSPA by the referee, it appears to me, that the same needs to be done of a certain other rider.
What a load of crap.

The yellow exclusion light was put on by the referee when Sarj's bike slowed and it was announced that Greaves had been excluded for unfair riding. This was the cause of the confrontation, what happened next is better not commented on until all the facts come out.

The last double header was done in time.
The last Storm one wasn't with the moving curfew.
-
Suppose that's why Cook has a lower EL average than Josh because he is so much better.
Cook has earned his riding as a heat leader whilst Josh has been riding against FTR's and 2nd strings, no comparison

Cradley fans or anyone who wants just to watch the NL meeting can turn up at 8.30 and pay 10 pound.
Good move but I hope the meeting goes past heat 10.

Friday admission prices are as follows:Adults £22, Concessions £18, Under-16s £5, Under-11s Free. Entry for season ticket holders will be £5 to cover the Storm meeting. Programme £3.
I see they can't even get their pricing to agree on the website. Advertising Poster on Website says £17.
I see they must still be reading the forum then even if they will not reply, as web site now altered.
Glad to have been of service.

Why has the second leg of the final been moved to a wednesday?
So that Poole can have the second leg of the final on their normal race night.

The club appreciates the concerns expressed by season ticket holders regarding the different pricing policies for the hectic schedule of home meetings over the last month, including double-headers. Season ticket holders who wish to discuss the issue further with the promotion are more than welcome, as always, to enter into correspondence via the usual channels and we will be pleased to respond.
Where you will be told that they have to let you in to the Wolves match and then you will be escorted out.

Can anyone tell me why Jason Doyle has been named in the line-up as surely the terms of his visa prohibit this.
-
I would like to know how they are going to stop S/T holders from attending the Wolves meeting as it is already paid for.

Tuesday September 23, 2014
ADMISSION prices for Friday's Coventry v Wolverhampton/Coventry v Cradley double-header have been confirmed as follows:
Season ticket holders £5 admission to cover additional Storm meeting.
They can not charge season ticket holders £5 if they do not want to watch the Storm meeting.
They can not refuse to let S/T holders into the first match only.
Can Neil Watson please explain how they are going to break the contract if they try and enforce the above charge.
QUOTE FROM OLD NEWS ITEM
Season Tickets will be valid for all senior team fixtures, with a minimum of 18 top-flight fixtures to take place under the new league format – and, as an added bonus, Season Tickets will also be valid for the Christmas Cracker if paid for in full before Christmas.
No meeting ever given for paying in full before Christmas.
No 2nd Birmingham Meeting.
Also additional charge for OAP's at the gate is £4 yet they expect S/T holders to all pay £5.

If Bridgers contact with Kildemand had made the chain come off or his bike stop some other way he'd have been in a heap on the floor. If you lose drive on a bend you dont stay on. He got a taste of his own medicine, had a strop and parked up and cost Poole a league point.
Were you watching this because the contact happened on the straight.

Fixture planning in this country is a bloody nightmare, 100% if we only had 2 race nights things would be easier.
I agree that stronger governance would help, take last night, why didn't the management committee ring Rob and tell him officially about Luke Priest's inclusion? The Coventry management also said they had rang all ftr's but apparently they had not!!!
the Coventry pairs team plus reserve thrashed "title contenders"
interesting, do you know which riders were not contacted?
We are still waiting for an answer as you seem to know some fact that the rest of us don't.

As there is no information can only assume that it will be R/R and RTD.
-
Belle Vue won't have a problem next year if the draft continues, Steve Worrall will score then plenty of points.
Steve Worrall will not be a draft rider next year.
-
There is no facility for Danish Speedway full stop regardless unless a rider is injured or participating in a recognised FIM event.
As this is a re-arranged fixture than a facility is available. See teams that were declared for Coventry v Eastbourne. Facilities for MJJ and Bjarne Pedersen were given.
