Ablitts going to be out longer than expected, so we’re signing jack smith as temporary replacement
He's already on the Green sheets on Speedway GB website in the National league so wouldn't be surprising

At Least Smith will be number 1 its a lot better than some teams who are trying to develop a 32 year old at reserve

2 hours ago, 4BM said:I attended yesterday and even thought it took an age to get the announcement out that the meeting was off it was the correct decision, especially as it started to shower with rain again that point. I’m just hoping that Scunthorpe honour their admission ticket, as popped into the pits from bend 4 entrance when that was opened by the club to speak to a couple of friends who were due to ride and mechanic and left via the pit exit/entry without getting ticket stamped, if not that’s the last £20 that will leave my wallet and go into Scunny’s coffers
I'd email the club gail.godfrey@btconnect.com and explain the situation i'm sure Rob and his wife will help you.

According to the folks on BSN, Eurosport are showing 18 fixtures over the season

Hopefully the Scorpions Riders engines have better reliability then the Buses do

Jan Gravesen won the Kenny Smith Memorial meeting I remember that was like a mud bath and very winter ISH conditions. Scott Nicholls had a hissy fit and left after 2 of his rides.

Kean Dicken announcing news tomorrow. Scunthorpe usually announce their news on Thursdays
Maybe I'm putting 2+2 together here

Honestly Edinburgh 8th and Plymouth 9th but the other 7 could be in any order, Quite like the look of Berwick.
Poole and Glasgow will be up there as they always are.
Scunthorpe and Oxford look solid.
Workington anything could happen with them depending how their newbies go on and Whether Cook can return to his best.
Then there's Redcar and honestly imo i don't think they'll be as good as people are expecting but we will see -
Few weeks ago I'm sure it said that they had sorted 6 riders out and they had 4. Something to play with for the last spot so I assume the 2nd reserve is a 3pter

Ablitt rode for Scunthorpe last year and Harrison is riding for Scunthorpe this

He hasn't packed it in, Just yet . He's got a job outside of Speedway now but he'd still be willing to give speedway a go if the call was made.

Muff and Shimelt have signed

If Howarth, Palm Toft and Allen can find some consistency this team will be fine but all 3 are likely to beat the opposition number 1 then come out in the next race and lose to an opposition reserve.
Should think they'll win most home meetings but they'll take some batterings when they travel imo

Luke Killeen

Alex Spooner
Ashton Vale
Senna Summers

Sonny Springer has completed the team

The Fords aren't daft they wouldn't have signed Thomsen if they didn't think he was going to perform and even if he doesn't they'll have a plan B up their sleeve to make sure come October they'll be in the Playoff final once more.
