Meowmix replied to Mateusz's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Congratulations Poland, best team on display today. Unlucky England, so close to a medal, but after the past few years it's a step in the right direction. -

If only the track hadn't been slush in the first 6 or 7 heats! Bomber's got us back into contention for a medal. C'mon England!!!! -

Indeed Pawel, probably one of the best meeting I've seen from Vojens since Tony Rickardsson stole the world title from under Hans Nielsen's nose there back in '94! -

Yet the result is the same, he kicks arse in his next race and out of all 4 riders looks the most hungry for the win. Get in there Bomber, true brit, true gent. -

Not at all, but when was the last time you saw a ref change his mind on a decision? Hmmm, thinking about it, it was Gollob throwing his toys out again at the British GP in Coventry some years back. I thought Bomber looked absolutely gutted knowing that he'd just blown the joker and probably any chance of a medal, that in itself showed the passion he has to win. Ah, but I didn't say Bomber was a better rider than Gollob. Just that he's more of a gent in accepting the referee's decision, when he really had a better cause to complain about being excluded than Gollob did. -

Heat 3 SWC Final 2010 Vojen's Denmark. Berating the ref about excluding him when he went down on his own, and THROWING his crash helmet against the pit wall. -

Oh dear, that could be costly for Poland. What was Miedzinski doing fannying about though? Surely he could have got that bike going and picked up a point for his team. -

Ref made the correct decision, and much respect to Bomber for not throwing his toys out of the pram about it ala Gollob! -

Pedersen Breaks Finger Having Tantrum
Meowmix replied to Rob B's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Hancock didn't then go bleating to the cameras as to how unfair it was blah blah blah. Pedersen didn't have to give an interview and show himself up in the process. So Pedersens luck has finally run out - HURRAH - he's had more than his fair share over the past couple of seasons. I hope psychologically this has effected Pedersen, there's nothing more entertaining than watching the danish gnome making a prat out of himself.
