Not 100% but don't clubs get fined for any fixtures not run. Hence Kings Lynn riding against Rye house this Wednesday. -

Let's be honest would he go public and say it was a crap night. No don't think so. -
Sadly Groupon doesn't work as all the regulars buy tickets cheap and the revenue goes down. I forget which club did it and it was all over social media, tickets sold out and crowd was very little improved. Just less paid at the gate. Plus if you have a season ticket, you would feel a little P#### if offers were given all the time, and you got nothing extra for your lotyalty. Grrrr

Looking at company records, Leicester Speedway 2017 has been owned by Keith Chapman for the last 11 months, where as Leicester Speedway has been owned and still is according to company records owned by David Hemsley & Nick Hurst. Whatever is happening I hope all goes well, and that it's for the good of speedway. Could it be Buster saw this coming a long time off?

How about Kevin Wolbert plus a 2 point rider. A little weak at the tail but if they improve we could be well up for it.

Who Do People Want To Win The Play-offs?
BILKO replied to SomersetBlue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
It's a pity the record books will show Sheffield as champions if they win. Somerset have won the league by 3 points and Sheffield ended 20 points behind. So League champions Somerset (the clue is in the name) Play off winner to be decided. When all's said and done it's only a money maker, a bit like the GP's But then it's all about entertaining the fans so does it matter. -
Does any one know what the cut off date is for re declaring a team in the PL

British U21 Final - Sheffield 14 April
BILKO replied to Speedball's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
First of all Lambert was the best rider on the night, but picking gate 4 in the final cost him the title. Bates took advantage of this and rode a fantastic race to become champion. But I think the best was last place in the final Jack Parkinson-Blackburn, 4th in the British u21 final at 15 years of age. Let's hope he gets the backing he deserves, he could be as good as Tai. -
Good luck to him, but not one for the future starting NL at the age of 31

Winning the league is all about teams witrh riders upping there averages. Thats what Edinburgh did last season. You have to take a chance. But let's start with a team that can win at home each week. We need to be going home with a smile each Thursday.
