  2. Scores after Round 6 are now available here My apologies for the delay in updating ths scores after Cardiff, those who know me will know the reason why. Round 7 - Scandinavian Grand Prix - Malilla - 14th August 2010 Please nominate your captains for Round 7, or enter a new team if you are not already playing, on this thread only, by no later than 6pm BST on Saturday 14th August 2010 The wild card for the GP is Thomas H Jonasson.
  3. Having received quite a few requests for the same over the past few days, I thought it'd be a good idea to make this available on our website with all profits going to the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund. I'm offering the full live transmission from Sunday afternoon, plus the Saturday abandonment, so thats nearly 6 hours across 3 DVDs for £7.99. Our website has a flat £2 fee for postage, so out of £9.99 I'll donate £9 from each sale to the SRBF. So that it's all open and above board, I've set the quantity for sale to 250 units and will happily provide Paul Ackroyd of the SRBF with a report from our website detailing how many get sold. The link to our site is here Cheers Pete Ballinger Clean Cut Sports
  4. Or how about Olsen invests some capital into the stadium and builds a dome over it, and whilst he's at it maybe add some terracing instead of the grass banking ? Given it's 35 years old very little has been done to the place in the past 20 years. You only have to look at the beauty of the stadium at Gorican (which itself is shortly getting a roof) to realise that stadiums in fields, or in Vojens case an industrial estate, are moving into the 21st century, and in 2010 the paying public, at whatever the event, whether it be Speedway or something else, deserve something better than what Vojens currently offers.
  5. Does anyone know if this includes the family tickets as advertised on the website. We may yet still be able to make the journey down on Saturday.
  6. Sorry about that, space cleared in messages now. Yes room still available.
  7. Due to family circumstances, regretably we are now unable to stay over in Cardiff this weekend. Rather than cancel our hotel room in the Premier Inn (Cardiff City Centre) I would rather let a BSF friend utilise it. Cost is around £100 per night, Friday and Saturday, please PM me if interested.
  8. Scores after Round 5 are now available here My apologies for the delay in updating ths scores after Torun, family cicrumstances have meant I've not been able to attend to this before now. Round 6 - British Grand Prix - Cardiff - 10th July 2010 Please nominate your captains for Round 6, or enter a new team if you are not already playing, on this thread only, by no later than 5pm BST on Saturday 10th July 2010 The wild card for the GP is Scott Nicholls.

  13. >> Introduce 2 NEW riders with a NEW value not exceeding £85,000 << So yep, against the rules, sorry.
  14. The transfer window for the SGP Competition is now open, and so it's time for you to change your team should you so wish. This amended team will automatically apply until after the Croatian GP at the end of August when the transfer window opens once again. If you wish to keep the same set of 5 riders (even if they now total more than £190,000) then you may do so. If you wish to make changes then you can replace up to 3 of your current 5 but with one simple stipulation. The NEW value of the riders you wish to bring into your team must not exceed the OLD value of those you are replacing. eg. Replace Sayfutdinov & Harris = £85,000 Introduce 2 NEW riders with a NEW value not exceeding £85,000 If you decide to make changes to your team then PLEASE submit your changes, ie. riders out, riders in, plus your full new team of 5 riders on this thread only along with their SGP riding numbers. I cannot stress enough how much this helps me avoid making mistakes !! As before, each rider will then score their G.P points - Plus a bonus 5 points if they win the G.P - plus you can select a captain, who will get you double points for every meeting that they are captain in. The next transfer window will be between the Gorican and Vojens and G.P's. However you can change your captain every round if you so desire. Wild card for the Torun GP is Adrian Miedzinski Captains for each round to be posted on this thread only by start time of the GP. As before, entrants shall keep the same 5 riders (and captain) should no posting be made If you want anything else explaining please feel free to contact me on here by PM. The Riders and their (OLD) and NEW prices are as follows : 1 Jason CRUMP (50,000) 45,000 2 Tomasz GOLLOB (50,000) 50,000 3 Emil SAYFUTDINOV (50,000) 25,000 4 Greg HANCOCK (45,000) 25,000 5 Andreas JONSSON (45,000) 45,000 6 Nicki PEDERSEN (45,000) 40,000 7 Rune HOLTA (35,000) 30,000 8 Kenneth BJERRE (35,000) 50,000 9 Fredrik LINDGREN (35,000) 25,000 10 Hans ANDERSEN (35,000) 40,000 11 Magnus Z'STROM (25,000) 35,000 12 Chris HOLDER (35,000) 35,000 13 Jaroslaw HAMPEL (25,000) 50,000 14 Chris HARRIS (25,000) 35,000 15 Tai WOFFINDEN (25,000) 20,000 16 Wild Card (25,000) 20,000
  15. Scores after Round 4 are now available here Please note that www.speedwaygp.com has Greg Hancock scoring 3 points from the Copenhagen GP, although his heat scores add up to just 2. For the purposes of this game Greg Hancock has been awarded 2 points. Transfer window and Round 5 info is now available on a new separate thread here
  16. Just checked, and yes ACU have 2 riders for Terenzano, riding numbers 9 & 11. 5 rounds x 9 would be correct, going into 3 semis of 16 = 45 riders + a local nomination per semi.
  17. Trying to find out the Balakovo and Terenano line ups has been a real pain, but I do know that Lee Richardson rides at Terenzano.

  20. No, Emil will score zero for any team in the forthcoming SGP. Protasiewicz's scoring does not count. The transfer window opens after Parken where you will have the option of swapping Emil for someone else. Hopefully we'll be permitted to have a separate thread for that.
  21. Scores after Round 3 are now available here Round 4 - Danish Grand Prix - Parken, Copenhagen - 5th June 2010 Please nominate your captains for Round 4, or enter a new team if you are not already playing, on this thread only, by no later than 6pm BST on Saturday 5th June 2010 The wild card for the GP is Leon Madsen.
  22. Sorry, WvH, cannot accept this request as you dont have Bjerre in your team (see post #15)
  23. Yes, please go ahead everyone - on this thread only please.
  24. As it appears that whomever is moderating this section of the BSF is maintaining a position of total intransigence, I have no option but to invite nominations for captains for the future SGPs on this thread going forward. I will now have to manually maintain the information on the SGP competition spreadsheet, and as such will do my level best to keep the game running up to date. It is extremely disappointing that due to someone's inability to respect my position as the organiser of the game, and indeed as someone who has financially supported the BSF in recent times, that my requests for separate threads have fallen on deaf ears, and indeed that they do not even have the politeness or good grace to offer me an explanation why this is just not possible, rather to just almost immediately delete both threads and posts.

    World Under21s Meeting

Thanks BobC, perhaps my question should have been 'Why hasnt Lewis Bridger travelled to Gorican?" Good luck to Kyle whenever the meeting goes ahead.
