I have now listed the 4 VIP Experience opportunities to be Support Team Manager at Danny's meeting. The teams are Birmingham, Wolves, Coventry & Peterborough. The bidding starts at £60 per experience & includes ticket & programme. These are a unique opportunity to shadow the team manager from the pits & be involved in decisions made during the meeting. I have a few unique items for sale from this meeting. 1. 3 of the gifts given to the riders on the day. They are black wooden wine boxes with the logo on and only enough with 4 extras made. One contains a bottle of wine with the Testimonial logo as a label available for £30 & two boxes without the wine, but any normal size bottle will fit & they are £20 each. 2. An original race jacket from the ones held up at customs, it is signed by Andreas Jonsson from the meeting (NO 5) - £70 3. One of the spare race jackets orderded, it has not been used but is signed by Freddie. I have placed an original unique painting on Ebay of Adam Skornicki painted by artist & speedway fan Paul Puttnam. Paul painted 2 pictures, 1 donated to Adam himself & this one donated to Adam to raise funds for his Testimonial. Painting measures 20 inches x 16 inches. We have some great ideas for Christmas presents with all proceeds going to Adam's Testimonial Fund in recognition of his services. Firstly, have your child be a mascot on the day, there are 16 available at £50 each. You will receive admission on the day for the child & 1 accompanying adult. The child will receive a gift on the day & be on parade with the rider allocated to them. On receipt of the money a gift certificate will be posted out, so order early in time for Christmas. Secondly, enjoy the meeting with a 3 course meal in the restaurant. You will receive your admission, Testimonial programme, a gift on the day & the meal plus retain your seat for the whole meeting & enjoy possibly the best view in the stadium. The cost for this is £50 adult, £45 concessions & £30 for children. Again on payment a gift certificate will be posted out. Dan will be holding his Farewell Meeting on Thursday 22nd October at Redcar Speedway with a 7.30pm start. Sadly he is retiring on medical advice, but will continue working with Ty Proctor. The meeting will see the visit of the mighty Wolverhampton Wolves (hopefully as league champions), featuring PK, Fredrik Lindgren, Tai & Adam Skornicki etc. Obviously there will also be a few special guests in the Redcar team as well.
