    When Redcar Bears hit town on April 26, fans who hold entrance tickets from the meeting between the teams at the end of last season will be given admission for half price.

    Tigers co-promoter Damien Bates said: “There were suggestions the half price offer was for the opening night, but because the Redcar meeting was far from satisfactory at the end of last season we wanted to give the opportunity for their travelling fans to take advantage of it.

    “I don’t think anyone can argue with this decision, we believe it’s in the best interests of everyone

    If anyone is interested I have a Peterborough coat that belonged to Peter Karlsson when he rode there, size large. I am selling it & all proceeds will go straight to his Farewell Fund Account. Open to offers & will be delivered to the track for collection. It is in great condition & I can provide a photo if you pm me.

    I have 3 of the Limited Edition black wooden wine boxes presented to the riders at the meeting. complete with bottle of wine. The boxes are etched with the meeting logo & as only 30 made, these are a great souvenir. Cost is £25 for the box & wine.

     

    Also I have 3 commemorative medals from the day, again very few made & cost will be £12 each.

     

    I can post the medals for a small extra charge but not the wine & box but I will arrange delivery to most tracks.

     

    I will sell to the first that ask & all proceeds will go straight to Rickys Big Day fund.

    As part of the Testimonial Committee I am pleased to announce details of the initial Sponsorship packages available.

     

    Rider or Race Sponsorship is priced at £200 which gives 2 tickets, programmes plus a buffet and name in programme

     

    Tyre & Fuel Sponsorship is priced at £50 & gives your name in the programme.

     

    Any other donations will be gratefully accepted. Please forward a cheque payable to "Ricky's Big Day" for my attention to Sheffield Window Centre, 60-70 Broad Lane, Sheffield. S1 4BT.

     

    I will have details of the Bank Account number etc by the end of next week for anyone who prefers to do a Bank Transfer.

    All monies will go to Ricky towards the cost of renovating the property in recognition of his services to Speedway.

    I have a number of signed race jackets & 3 signed pit boards for sale from Morten Risager Testimonial. On the day each rider had 2 race jackets. One set were sold at the meeting & these are the remaining ones.

     

    There are also 3 pit boards which were used at the meeting & have the rider name & Testimonial Logo. Most riders took theirs as a momento but I still have Niels K Iversen, Kenneth Bjerre & Danny Kings left.

     

    Anyone interested in these, please make a fair bid by sending me a pm please
