  1. But unlike the Birmingham track I don't need the assistance of a pair of binoculars to see the racing

    Plymouth v Glasgow 28/9/22

Not a fan of Plymouth, are we?
  3. What he certainly doesn't have is a CMA of 8.00, surely?

    Plymouth vs Redcar 16/8/22

To quote your recent post earlier in this thread: "what difference does it make, the outcome is the same."
  5. Neither me nor Fang know that he's not injured

I've only ever heard of 1/3rd of them

    Oxford v Plymouth. 6/7/22

    Yes, funny thing that.

    Oxford v Plymouth. 6/7/22

I'd be astonished if he gets on a bike before next season given the sheer quantity of his injuries. But I'm not a doctor ........nor am I Dan Gilkes

    Plymouth Gladiators 2022

I can assure you that all the recent Plymouth promotions have had a very good record of early calls when it comes to duff weather. It's especially important when travel to Plymouth is highly likely to involve a long journey.

    workington ..

IIRC we had Hynek Stichauer and his bike both go over the fence at Plymouth in 2011 at the exit of bend 4 Neither he nor the bike made contact with anyone and amazingly Sticky walked back to the pits. His bike had to be carried back - it was very bent

You may rest assured that I'm never going to borrow your bit of seaweed. It's been persisting it down for hours

    Plymouth Gladiators 2022

I suspect this is the wrong answer. You see, everyone wants to believe that Plymouth are just bending the rules. Not that they would care if they were in their correct position at the bottom of the table

    Plymouth Gladiators 2022

I'm sure that somewhere along the line it will be for the good of the sport?

That sounds like a collar bone. Plenty of bad stories about riders that came back too quickly and hadn't healed properly although I understand that hyperbaric oxygen chamber therapy can significantly speed up the healing process.
  16. IIRC Paul Starke, Ashley Morris and James Wright have all ridden for Plymouth in the past Good to see Paul Starke back in action

    Plymouth v Edinburgh 31/05

For goodness sake, all you have to do is look on the speedwaygb website and ............. oh

    Plymouth v Oxford 10/05

Not in the least. Have seen Barker on this track demonstrate some of the finest team riding that you could ever wish to see. And I mean proper team riding, not looking over his shoulder as he crosses the finishing line.

Glasgow Vs Plymouth 6th may 7.30

Perhaps that's karma because at home against Scunny Barker was excluded for having both wheels over the white line when in fact he didn't (evidence on the stream). Personally I'd have been delighted if the Gladiators came away from Glasgow with a point. I'll settle instead for 'nearly'

    Plymouth Gladiators 2022

That's his season done then I suspect. Such a shame as he was pulling up some trees before his crash. I hope he recovers fully and swiftly; the very best of luck to Dan

    Plymouth Gladiators 2022

Can anyone tell me the latest update on Dan Gilkes, please?
  22. ancient mariner

    Plymouth Gladiators 2022

The words 'toys' and 'pram' spring to mind. Such a shame because Henry Atkins is so much better than that. Possible that someone has been whispering in his ear

    Plymouth Gladiators 2022

It must be frustrating for him that he was injured for so long too
  24. ancient mariner

    Plymouth v Scunthorpe

Plymouth haven't had much luck with referee's decisions so far this season - this one had a direct effect on the match outcome. Due a rub of the green I think.

    Redcar v Plymouth

    Not if you follow Plymouth!
