    Plymouth Gladiators 2024

IMO Rowe would be a better option. BTW did they ever contact Bradley Wilson-Dean?

    Edinburgh Monarchs Academy 2024

Pity you didn't keep your promise, instead of further spouting your inane, usubstantiated drivel towards Edinburgh

    Plymouth Gladiators 2024

Riss guested for Edinburgh @ Plymouth on 29th August at number one & scored 12 paid 13 from 5, including a 2 paid 3 in a match winning last heat 5 - 1 for the Monarchs. Seemed confident then eh

    Edinburgh “24 Team

Think a lot of Monarchs fans are blinded by Castagna's likeable character and ignore that he first rode the UK in 2015 & has hardly progressed. IMO he is at best a journeyman, one line performer (get's a nose bleed trying the outside) & we should be looking to recruit someone with more potential for 2024,

    Edinburgh “24 Team

Whatever side Monarchs declare for 2024, without any any malice intended, I hope the Promotion realise that retaining a 29 year old Australian who in 13 matches, 40 rides, achieved a match average of 0.70(excldg BPs) which included only two 3rd places in 16 rides @ home, would dismay the home support. Some I know are seriously considering whether to attend, or even pay for the stream, if we end up with another uncompetitive starting lineup for 2024.
  7. Congratulations to the Tigs, who certainly deserved this over the two legs. Don't go with this sour grapes that Blobby has been spouting on here. If their owners have allegedly splashed the cash to assemble the side, so what, if my club was able to do so, I certainly wouldn't be complaining. The Facennas have also transformed Ashfield into one of the best stadiums & race tracks in the UK and it is fitting that they now have a Championship winning side to grace it.
  8. Does anyone actually ask Cami Brown afterwards why he had originally left Pijper in when he could have brought Complin in? This could have crucially resulted in Oxford winning overall. Alex Harkess has explained unpopular managerial tactical decisions he has made in the next Monarchs match programme. Does Brown ever publically explain his actions or is he untouchable?
  9. Are you the reincarnation of The Rev I.M. Jolly?
  10. With Eurosport apparently still providing live coverage of the rescheduled Ipswich vs Sheffield on Tuesday, assume Scott Nicholls will forego his tv job and ride at Glasgow instead?
  11. Track preparation has never been consistently good since Alan Bridgett retired and the quality of racing has deteriorated, irrespective of home team performances. Occassionally we get good racing on what appears to be a well prepared circuit, but sadly that is the exception to the norm. IMO excuses about poor weather or shale are not credible, given that our near neighbours now provide a good racing strip @ Ashfield nearly every time, under similar climate & material constraints.

    Plymouth Gladiators 2023

I assume we are referring to Plymouth's Tuesday fixture, so why can Joe Thompson not guest for the Devils?

    Championship Pairs - Sep 1st

Being a regular exponent of this on here, you should know
  14. Especially as the Edinburgh Promotion agreed to Poole being first on, despite the fixture being announced originally as Birmingham as the sole vistors, who you would expect to be the opener for this rearranged double header. No doubt the Pirates will ragdoll the home team in the opener, & will probably also supply Lawson as the Brum guest for the second match. Considering the Monarchs have persisted with the lowest 2 pointer in the CL since 9th June & show no signs of altering this, despite their reserves recording one point between them in last Friday's gubbing, Birmingham should be able to also win here. There's quiet a few home fans disenchanted with how our Promotion appear to have given up in trying to improve both the team & the track latterly. With the matchday admission prices for Friday being £35 for Adults, £33 for Seniors, & £31.50 for Students, think quite a few of the non-diehards will give this meeting a body swerve
  15. Here's hoping Craig gets his impounded bike back before the British Final on Monday.
  16. When Borke was introduced on 9th June together with Wood, the impression was that DW would be a temporary replacement until a more promising 2 pointer could be recruited. Since then the likes of Sam Hagon & Luke Harrison were recruited later by Birmingham & Redcar respectively, and 2 months on we are still no further forward in bringing in a competitive number seven. It's unfair on Dayle Wood who is out his depth in the Championship and also short changing Monarchs fans knowing their seventh rider will trail in last in his required three match heats. I wonder how much effort has been made since 9th June to find better or are the Promotion content to go with this cheaper local option for the rest of 2023?

    Edinburgh Vs Poole 4th August

Jacob Hook on BSN pointed out that as Roynon was passing Wood, he made contact with Wood's front wheel with his dirt deflector, causing Wood to lose control of his bike. As previously mentioned on here, this was confirmed in a replay of the incident.
  18. F.A.O. those puzzled by Gary Allan's ht2 decision @ Armadale last night to exclude Roynon

    Edinburgh Vs Poole 4th August

If you look @ the previous Greensheets (Issue 20) they state Oxfords Actual averages are wef from 2/8 & have Jenkins @ 5.33. As current issue 21 was issued on on 3/8, Jenkins has his current GSA as 5.33 and surely supersedes column C which was effective on 1/8. If not, the BSPL statistician has made a pigs breakfast of Oxford's current GSAs
  20. cyclone

    Edinburgh Vs Poole 4th August

Column C is weighted Home average for a rider being replaced by guest, where the guest's actual GSA (column A) applies, in Jenkins case 5.33
  21. cyclone

    Edinburgh Vs Poole 4th August

No he is NOT according to current GSAs - Castagna (home) 5.44, Jenkins 5.33

    Edinburgh Vs Poole 4th August

    Bowtell/Jenkins/Gilkes for Castagna & r/r for Thomson.
  23. Who do you think we should have tried to get if available?
  24. Brennan is with Lodz in Poland, so I would expect he has bikes available on mainland Europe in addtion to his UK based kit.
