If Mr Godfrey makes sure only one team can ride, who would be the opposition?

That is what I have done the last two times, but unable to this year. Same as you, I will go elsewhere next year.

Every time I press the ‘print from home’ option, it defaults to Courier delivery and wants my phone number. Is anyone else having issues? Thanks

Does anyone know what the entrance price is please. Thanks.

Thanks, I just wish they done an old duffer app. Now, what time is my granddaughter getting here………

Just reading through the ticket app comments, not quite sure how it works. If I download the app to my iPad, can I then print the tickets out or would I have to take my iPad to the stadium. Thanks in advance.

I thought that, how many times have you seen someone going from last to first or second by blasting round the boards. Always gets the crowd going as well.

Apart from the score, how did you enjoy your trip to your second favourite club.

Personally I thought they were as bad as their scores suggest, however others may disagree.

According to the email confirming the cancellation , refunds will take between 45 - 60 days.

If anyone was going in May, COVID permitting, for a weekend break without the speedway with Ryanair Stansted - Warsaw - Stansted, the 18.50 return flight has been moved 23.05.
I do not expect the current restrictions to be lifted and the trip is unlikely to go ahead, this is just for people’s awareness. I am only still going as Ryanair will not offer a refund on a flight as been moved less than 5 hours.

This is starting to look like an expensive weekend. Flight tickets, hotel and airport car parking changes another £180 or so and it may get cancelled again. Decisions, decisions.

Same here, why not use the best track as it’s available.

Tickets, flights and hotel sorted, what can possibly go wrong.

This year we booked to stay at the University again, we have stayed in numerous hotels in Cardiff in the early years and got fed up with the rip off prices, obviously at this time i don't know how we stand regarding refunds or maybe rolling the booking over to next year. Lets be honest there isn't going to be a GP in Cardiff in July unless there's some radical change in circumstances in the next 2-3 weeks.
We've stayed at the university for a fair few years now, it's basic but clean and handy for getting into the City Centre. At the end of the day we're a group of blokes so it suits us down to the ground. Last year we went down the Air BnB route and we paid around £80 each and to be fair it was a nice place in Penarth and the locals in the pub around the corner gave us good advice on getting into the City Centre quickly and cheaply. We only stay in Cardiff on the saturday nowadays as make a weekend of it by going to the Pairs on the friday night and staying in the Vegas of the West, Burnham on Sea on the friday night
I had an email from the Uni booking team on 03/04/20 saying if the event is cancelled, they are waiving their usual T&C’s and you will get a refund.

Luckily Ryanair moved my flight more than 3 hours so was able to get a full refund. I had booked the no cancellation option with the hotel, but emailed them, explaining the situation and they gave me a full refund. If any one else booked the same, might be worth contacting them.

regarding the GP would think due to costs of building a temporary track, a decision would be taken around 10 days before event, so if Postponed no cost would be taken to build the track, hope it goes ahead as flight costs will not be refunded, I can cancel my hotel
I think there will be a few of us in this situation.

The stadium has a big car park £1 a car, and you need to bring your own chairs. In March I would strongly advise you wrap up warm, because it can be absolutely freezing that time of year.

There is enough places to eat, just depends what you fancy. Pawpaw beer heaven is a decent bar, around 80 beers on tap and pizzas, burger type food. Last time I asked the barmaid for advice she recommended ‘this is a beer you can drink all day and not get drunk, and later you can go on to something stronger’. Pity she forgot to mention it was 7.9%.

I take it you do not read the posts from the anti Godfrey gang.

I take my hat off to people who can remember what happened on the 3rd bend between riders at Cradley in 1964, I cannot even remember what I had for tea.

There are numerous posts on this forum to the effects of “Speedway is dying on its ar*e, something needs to be done”, “this time next year there will be no speedway, something needs to be done”. So this year they try something different, and it’s “ We don’t want change, we like it as it is”. Ok, it may/ may not be a good idea, but at least they are trying something different.
Like 99.99999% of posters on here, I was not at the Committee meeting but if anyone was, and I don’t mean “I was told” or “ my mates great aunts sisters brother has heard”, please tell us all exactly who agreed to what.

I registered last year and just checked I can log on for next week and my email address is now not recognised. I tried to re-register again, but I cannot because my email address is already registered. Is anyone else having trouble, if I recall correctly last year was right faff.
