  1. No chance of Sully being dropped, if changes are made then it would have to be Shields, he NEVER scores well here in the league, let alone a world cup match!

    lovely start girls

    What about the forums greenstarttart!
  3. I think the Aussies could really struggle in the play-offs, and another good meeting is in prospect. As for the winner, I hope GB can do it, they do have a decent looking chance, but, I am sticking with the Swedes, Lindback and Max both had a torrid time at Eastbourne, but, it could be a lot different at Poole.
  4. I'm completely in the dark!

    Line-ups for event 2

Italy to win in a canter!
  6. Great meeting, Great for TV, Great for speedway. Well done the Brits! straight through to the final! BUT, beware those Swedes on saturday, they will surely go through to the final, and Lindback and Max will be a different proposition there! P.S. I do not understand what liontamer was on about if Liontamer did not watch the meeting, then it was Liontamer's loss, it was GREAT!
  7. Sweden to win, they look terrifyingly strong!
  8. I will definitely write the Czechs of, they have NO chance of winning. The Aussie do not look quite so strong as in previous years, but, they are still a big threat. Team GB should do OK, but, I do not see them as winners. Ditto the Danes. Poland have little chance of winning in my view. BUT, Sweden look awesome, and they are my tip to win!
  9. Quite right as well, I have always rated Jonsson, even though he is a little inconsistent, but, when he is good, he is very good.

    What about Scott then!!

After watching the race again, there is no doubt in my mind that Jonsson had the momentum to beat Scottie, he was slightly behind when the accident happened, but he was making ground up very rapidly, but of course Scotties fans will want to think otherwise, and who can say for sure!

    What about Scott then!!

They are playing a repeat of the meeting right now, this time I will record it to take a good look, when I watched it last night I was of the opinion that Jonsson was coming to win the race.

    What about Scott then!!

I agree that Scottie was unlucky to fall, but, there is little doubt in my mind that Jonsson would have JUST beaten him, in fact, I would say that he was very slighty ahead when the accident happened.

    Tony Rickardsson's knock

NOT Rickardsson's fault JY, the same thing happened to Nicholls (twice) and Nicki once, if the back wheel picks up extra grip, or goes in a rut the rider has little control over it.
  14. Leigh Adams Tony Rickardsson Greg Hancock Jason Crump
  15. Surely the best British GP yet! But why oh why does Crump always screw up when it REALLY matters! Will he never learn?

    How was your GP day??

I think themanwiththeplan is writing absolute rubbish!
  17. Hans was only racing hard, they both were, Hans came very close to falling off, but he didn't, and Holta did, so he had to be excluded, GREAT RACE!
  18. T. Rickardsson. J. Crump. D. Norris. M. Loram.

    Referees decisions

Apparently, the "all four back" rule for first bend bunching, is NOT in the rule book it is up to the discretion of the referee, and he can order all four back at ANY stage of the race. So I am told!
  21. Adams. Rickardsson. Crump. Gollob.
  22. What a shame the world cup in it's new format did not start year's ago, Norris was called up last year because of injuries, he obviously enjoyed his new found fame, his form this year has been outstanding. Once he was one of the most negative rider's in speedway, if something did not suit him, he would shut shop, but, no more, what a shame he did not apply himself like this before, his career could have been very different. Also, Loram and Richardson are showing very good form, great for British speedway, and if for once they can keep away from injuries, they will surely put a very strong challenge down.
  23. And do not forget Scotty!!
  24. Was this really a one-off track? is so then at last have have got it as good as they can. Great display by Adams, but can he be consistent enough to win it? only time will tell. Rickardsson had the worst draw in the final, but, overall he most definitely showed that he is still good enough to win another title.
  25. Crump Pedersen Sullivan Rickardsson.
