Well yes it would wind up anyone the longer he leaves it the more it decreases in value, but I can't for the life of me see what it's worth apart from the Poole Speedway name as I know and you probably do the asset list means Jack squat, so then you have the dirt on the track, fences and tractors I don't know if Poole Speedway own them or lease them, they don't own the stadium so I cannot see how you can put a value on it really apparently it's up for miles apart from anyone is prepared to have a dabble with.

One way you would value the business is how much cash it generates but looking at Poole Speedway Ltd accounts that has diminished considerably over the last 3 years so not looking good. 5 years ago was when it had its highest net worth but that was probably taking into account the assets including rider contracts.

No point in getting new shale in until the work with the road grader is done!  The grader was 'postponed' because it wasn't available soon enough in the current gap between fixtures.

The next possible extended gap between home fixtures is next month from 5th to 17th July.

I really can't see how Matt Ford can be in denial about the track condition when he and his son Danny have openly stated in the local press that it needs sorting and will be..

Get Guy Nicholls on the case - he will be able to supply one!

    Does it really matter?

I don't know. I am not a Poole supporter but just wondered about whether it was just last year they would not have the suits as I thought the 70th celebrations were the reason last season.

What annoys me somewhat are the continual jibes from so-called Poole fans - I expect it from opposition 'fans'! -  when the 2019 team retains 4 of the successful 2018 team, thereby retaining some continuity, brings back a club asset and at the same time manages to do it within the 42.50 team building limit, by losing 2.5 points from the 2018 ending team - and we're still only in January - 3 months before Poole's season commences.

    Rant over. COYP:rolleyes:

    That's speedway supporters Skids!!

I thought we were supposedly vulnerable in heats 13 and 15 in 2018 - yet not only did we make the play-offs but we won the Premiership trophy too.

Rule change for 2019 - there will be no heats 13 and 15!  ;)  Cost cutting exercise!
