Jack Holder should outshine Doyley as the Aussies new number 1, I do think Doyle still has it to be number 2, but his best days are behind him.

Can't argue against that, but he has won rounds in last season and the season before GP/s, hopefully we will see a faster tougher better gater Dan Bewley in 2024 and if we do, look out Mr Zmarzlik, an Englishman is after your title.

Dan rode with metal plates/pins in his leg causing him pain all season, these have now been removed. 2024 could well be the season we see the real Dan Bewley. As for his gating I do agree with you about this issue, having said that if he can match or better J Holders gating, a world title is within his reach.

It wouldn't surprise me if Dan didn't ride in the UK next season, surely as a professional Speedway rider the GP's are a priority. Dans form in the UK and the GP's went backwards in 2023. IMHO as Polish and Swedish tracks are more suited to his style, thats where he should ride and get back to winning ways. I say this with a broken heart as like most Belle Vue fans, I've seen Dan since he burst onto the scene in 2016. But his ambition and career must come 1st for him. That's my head talking, my heart wants him back.

I stand corrected, however comfortable is not a word I would use if I was an Ippo fan waiting for the start of heat 15 in the second leg. But let's not split hairs, Ippo won fair and square and that's all that counts.

Looks like Sheffield will make the final again, so I will sit on the fence and just enjoy what I hope is a final just as good and intense as last season. How ironic would it be if R Lambert who helped Belle Vue win it in 2022 against Sheffield , then helped Sheffield in 2023.

I liked your post and truly hope you are correct about Wolves coming back, but being a Belle Vue fan since 1964 I can't agree with a Wolves win.
