I think the "E-Ticket only" also helped to keep people away. My wife, son, two grandchildren and myself would have gone if we were allowed to print out tickets as we have been able to in the past. The no printout email ticket policy prevents oldies (some may say dinosaurs) like me who do not have, and do not want a modern phone, at up to date prices, which many of us cannot afford, are being discriminated against, in this modern technical world.

Think that is a stadium issue rather than the SGP. At rugby on Saturday for Wales v New Zealand they were all tickets via the Stadium app as it uses a rotating QR code.

At the speedway I weas able to have all the tickets on the one phone and everyone got in. I didn't transfer to the other spectators on my order

Has anybody any experience of using the disabled / ambulant seating areas in the stadium? Having spoken to the stadium, they have identified block U12 and block L22 as the closest blocks to where we plan to go (U15).

Block L22 appears to have the ambulant seating at the back of the block, whilst block U12 appears to have the seating towards the front. At the moment, U12 is looking the more favourable, but I have a question regarding access to this area. Does this ambulant seating area have it's own access, possibly at the back of it looking at a plan, or do you have to enter / exit via the usual aisles?

As a blue badge holder with limited mobility, my elderly parent would find it a struggle to have to shuffle past other people to get to the usual aisle, hence the question about access.

Thanks in advance for all your help

Don't know about those particular sections but there are sections for wheelchairs that have w straight access from the walkways to where the wheelchairs can view the event

Could get messy - Polish media article(translated)

Speedway: Sanctions imposed on citizens of Russia and Belarus in retaliation for starting the war in Ukraine have not bypassed the world of sport. By the decision of the International Motorcycle Federation, the riders of these countries were removed from participation in international competitions, and the Polish Motor Association extended this ban to Polish leagues.
Slag. Multi-million damages for Artiom Łaguta and Emil Sajfutdinow?
    Artiom Łaguta and Emil Sajfutdinov

All Russians were subject to sanctions, including the individual world champion - Artiom Łaguta and the third speedway rider of the globe - Emil Sajfutdinow. And it is precisely preventing these two competitors from starting in Poland that causes the greatest controversy. Both have had Polish citizenship for several years.

    - In the case of the Russians, the matter is simple. PZM had the right to impose sanctions on them and they would have to suffer their sins for them. On the occasion, Polish citizens were thrown into one bag, which is absolutely unacceptable - said Jerzy Synowiec, lawyer, city councilor from Gorzów Wielkopolski, and in the past president of the local Stal.

A few days ago, Mr. Synowiec even sent an open letter to the President of the Republic of Poland and the authorities of the Polish Motor Association, in which he wrote

“Pursuant to Polish law, Polish citizens are persons who have Polish citizenship. Being a Polish citizen and, at the same time, a citizen of another country, one cannot rely on that other citizenship and the rights and obligations arising therefrom with legal effect before Polish state authorities.

A Polish citizen who is also a citizen of another state has the same rights and obligations towards the Polish state as a person who has only Polish citizenship.

Violation of such rights is contrary to the constitution and the Polish legal order. "

    - The Polish Motor Association should immediately reflect and allow Artiom Łaguta and Emil Sajfutdun to start with Polish licenses. These are Polish citizens, and the fact that they have a second citizenship should not discriminate them in any way - commented the Synowiec letter. - After all, there are several hundred thousand people in Poland with double passports, including some parliamentarians, and I have not heard of anyone wanting to limit their rights for this reason. I have Belarusian roots myself and what? Should I just close my office for this? - added.

    - Laguta and Saifutdinov were suspended by the Russian federation for criticizing the war and President Vladimir Putin. As a result of PZM's decision, they cannot drive in Poland either. Thus, they became basically homeless people. They will be able to seek compensation before Polish courts. I do not know how long they will be deprived of the right to practice, but even if it is only a season, it will be millions of dollars for each of them. Even if not the Polish courts, any European institution will agree with them in this case. I have no doubts about it. Unless someone ignores the undeniable fact that they are Polish citizens - assessed Synowiec.

According to the Polish Motor Association, Łaguta and Sajfutdinow entered the competition with Russian licenses in November and the regulations do not allow them to be changed. Moreover, until the imposition of sanctions on Russian speedway riders, they were not interested in competing with Polish licenses. Now, having such documents would be a salvation for them and allowed them to return to competitions both in PGE Ekstraliga and Grand Prix. Nobody in PZM, however, can imagine that after their possible triumph in the world championship competition, they would be played "Mazurka Dąbrowski"

Wasn't there a story that they were stopped then getting licences as well as Artem was listed as going to the training school but was blocked?

I think we all expected a gate 'n' go fest but racing was pretty good. Liked the 'less busy' graphics. Difficult night for Kelvin but he was a true professional.

My one beef was the refusal to acknowledge the existence of Artem & Emil. (I did fast forward thru a few bits so may have missed a reference, but in the preamble they clearly referred to ALL the world's best speedway riders - which simply wasn't true).

This was discussed in the intro before the meeting. Marcelina did an interview with Francois Ribeiro where they went over that Artem and Emil were missing and the reasons for this. Likewise the cancellation of the round in Togliatti

Can you record Discovery+?    The reason I ask is because I play league cricket on a Saturday.  I have had to record the GPs in the past as the cricket doesn't finish in time and then I watch as if live when I get home.  If this is a streamed service, then I think I'm stuffed?

Think Holder and Fricke were riding at Belle Vue on Monday so missed the press day in Gorzow

Now confirmed that the Polish staged GP rounds will be on Polish television station TTV free  to air channel( sister channel to TVN) non Polish rounds are to be shown on line.

‘ The management of Discovery Sports Events officially presented how it will be possible to watch the Grand Prix series in 2022 in Poland. The rounds in our country will be broadcast on the open TTV channel. All the rest will be available on player.pl for PLN 15 per month.

After purchasing the service, viewers will be able to watch other events organized by Discovery from the 2022 season. The price includes broadcasts from Speedway of Nations, SGP2 and SGP3 (the last two are also available on the Eurosport channel). On other channels of the group, such as TVN, TVN 24 or TVN Turbo, fans of the speedway sport will see more materials about the series, including tournament shortcuts.

    - Poland has a rich and successful history of speedway, as well as some of the most die-hard fans anywhere in the world, so we wanted the 2022 season, the first of Discovery Sports Events, to reach as many fans as possible. Establishing cooperation with TTV supports our ambitions for the development of speedway by making it available to the widest possible audience, maximizing the involvement and viewing opportunities for many competitions that we will promote - says Francois Ribeiro, head of Discovery Sports Events ‘

that could mean that Cardiff will be on live on a Discovery owned TV channel

I assume that would be something like Quest or Dmax then for UK if they did similar?
