OR get a rider in so they come to 37 points and put forward the case that the limit should be lowered and other teams have to change

So lightening strikes twice, well lets hope the strike is exactly the same, because Bears then signed Connor Bailey , who was arguably the rider of the season

Earlier in the season, we potentially had Stuart Robson's farewell on a Sunday and Redcar v Newcastle on a Friday in the same week. Loads of other instances, over recent years, It seems to me, that if its in the lease its not enforced.
I would have thought that any daytime activity is unrestricted so Saturday amateur/practice sessions, meetings on Sundays during the day and any ad hoc practice which goes on during the week. After all it is a Motor Sports park so other motor sport activity is already taking place and making noise. Again I would think the lease restrictions refer to evening activity prior to curfew.

How about specifying that in league matches you can't use guests from any club in same league >>> Same principle

In interview at the end Danny King said he hadn't been feeling too well, so that would explain his absence from heat 15

Straight swop for Lawson - OK

It seems to be a new thing they are trying, it then means the riders ride out in order to be introduced to the crowd, without helmets, so no stopping to do practice starts etc. one lap and straight back into pits.
Personally I like it - with a normal parade the riders all sit with helmets on then it is a mad rush to get pushed off and absolute total chaos - just feels more professional way to start the proceedings

Thanks go the Redcar promotion for the agreement to hold this meeting, which benefited both clubs supporters.
Thanks to all the ex Diamonds sponsors and the Diamond fans for sponsoring the meeting and making it possible. It was great to see the number of Diamond supporters in attendance and I hope that will be a sign for the future. We all need our fill of Speedway so why not support Redcar who has so many Newcastle connections.
Amazed at the condition of the track especially after its condition on Sunday. It held up well, obviously slick but it did mean that practically all races had 4 riders together instead of being strung out. It wasn't ripe for passing, but there was the usual burst around the boards coming out of the second bend still and a few tried it. Pity about Danny K's fall after taking it on but pleased he was OK.
On my way down I went through heavy rain the other side of Hartlepool, but that's where it stayed, except for a few drops later on in the meeting.
Nice to be involved with the Junior match again, with some decent performances in the Cubs 8 point win.
I think the Bears will do well this year, with 3 top heatleaders, and some gutsy second strings and reserves. Not a good night night for Jake M, as he couldn't get out of the gate, but when he does watch out for a fresh new talent to emerge. He is very fast, only 18, and I had the pleasure of watching in the Colts team all last year. He's going to be a great reserve, the same as you had last year with Jenkins.
So yes, I am now a Redcar supporter now. They have done wonders to get where they are and it will continue I am sure.
Looking forward to seeing many profiles change to Team: Redcar (on loan from Diamonds)

Good news for Redcar.
Disasterous news - need to get it moved
Why ?? Someone's wife suggested a nice 5 day cruise leaving on a Saturday returning on a Thursday so no impact on Speedway, and it's all booked

May come out via rumour mill, but the promotion at Redcar are too professional to name names, even if they haven't been their most favourite people!!

I heard of many failed drugs/alcohol tests - usually athletics - and they always say need to wait for the second sample to be tested. I have never yet heard of a second samplegiving any different result to the first.
