    Rick Miller

I'm sure it was Rick who took a right perler at Oxford when he was trying out the prototype front shock suspension forks. I think you were leading the race and coming out of turn 4 the forks they just seemed to collapse and sent you sprawlling across the track. I think Hans Nielsen was also using the forks as well but came out with the normal ones after that. Do you recall that Rick?
  2. Sorry everyone, just got in from work. Massive apologies to Jill because i got your message earlier and now my phone don't work. Looking at the logistics of everything it would be impossible to keep everyone that wanted the tickets happy because I thought they would go quicker than I thought ( I posted them on the Oxford Forum first) as I'm now just getting the fishing gear out to fish and leaving for an important match in Aldershot, my wife decided to give them away to someone local. She can't be in all day so she left me a note when I got home to tell me what she had done. Sorry all. This probably don't make a lot of sense but I'm in a rush. Tight Lines and sorry again.
  3. I've got 2 tickets for the GP going for nothing. Just won them in a competition on Sky and can't make it because I will be fishing! There together on the first bend on the top tier.I think it would be too late to post them so you'll have to come and collect them. I live in Oxford. Just email me and the first reply/replies I get can have em. Thanks though Sky.
  4. Are you p****d! I don't think one person on here has agreed with you, as with 99.9% of your postings. TR was a very lucky guy tonight and he will be the first to admit it. When will you start supporting speedway as a whole, instead of just Poole. As a football referee I have to block out all biased decisions and lay down the Laws of the game as seen, could you do that Mr Shovlar. With your track record of looking at one team only, I don't think so. I originally started this thread under the heading that Rickardsson should have been out twice, but looking again at the reply it should have been 3 times. he pulled up in front of Crump on the 2nd bend causing Crump to lay it down. Crump knew he had a EF and remounted only for the referee to stop the race. Why? No one made contact. Tony Steele had a mare and was swayed by the TV and upset he would cause, in other words Bottled It. If he is the best ref in the world of speedway, then the standards of sport is not very creditable.
  5. Well done Leigh, bloody justice! Well done Crumpy. Well done Gollob. Oh I forgot 3rd place. I think the rider gets seeded in their own country!!
  6. What the hell was Tony Steele playing at. We are all watching the same racing and he allows Rickardsson back in after taking out Hancock and then again taking out Gollob. The Ref bottled it!!!!

    Olsen Must Go

At the end of the day the butt stops at Olsen. He's the one that gives the track the OK. Also questions must be asked about the referee. He should have made a decision about that track before a wheel was turned. I also agree with Rob, bring in an ex GP rider like Hans to call the shots. He is far more in touch with today's sport than Olsen.
  8. Youve also got Sky Sports Extra, but I believe Cable veiwers can't get this channel.
  9. This is a total shame in Sweden and one bloke is to blame, Ole Olsen. He F****d Up the World Cup in Denmark and now he's allowed the Worlds top riders on a track similar to a Moto Cross Track. Bye Bye Olsen, I always knew you was an W****r.
  10. I have to agree it wasn't the best so far. The track didn't improve on last year no matter what Olsen says. Yes it took longer to break up but there was only one racing line. Lets chamfer the bends next year and have some decent racing! It would also be interesting to see what the official attendance was because I thought it was a lot down on last year. And if JP is true to his word about having entertainment what the hell was that all about with the so called "Blues Brothers" My local pub singers on the kareoke were better than that.
