Giuseppe rode eleven meetings for Wolves in 1976, achieving a 3.22 average. -
Neither Trelawny or Somerset had stadiums but every visit was memorable and the racing was first class.

Raking this up in this context is pretty despicable.

I have read the news item on the BSPA site and it seems that Lambert is a guest for Musielak. Sheffield are 'monitoring' Tai's progress on Sunday and Lawson is standing by to guest. Drew Kemp stands in for Claus Vissing. Admittedly though, the news item is badly written and is less than clear. -
Sad news. A rarity in sport, a competitor that did not divide opinion. He was respected and admired by all. I was lucky to see him throughout his long and illustrious career. One of the great guys.

More likely this rather than next.

1972 clearly a good year: Dave Gifford scored a paid max from reserve in May against Halifax.
-
I have a vague recollection of Tom Leadbitter scoring 15 at the spoons. Was it at reserve? Someone will be along……

Becker has a hand injury. An update is expected tomorrow morning. (Taken from OS)

Heat 13 is on the Wolves twitter feed.

The first meeting I went to featured a guest rider. That was well over fifty years ago. Additionally, I would venture that in a hierarchical list of 'the banes of British speedway', guest riders would not feature highly. Just an opinion.
-
A mention too for Jan Simensen. One of so many swedes who made riding a speedway bike look like the easiest thing in the world.
-
........and that was just on the track!

Talk-in is tomorrow night at the Cleveland Arms.

Leon Flint confirmed as Wolves fourth rider for 2023. Also he is on the rising star list, according to Wolves' official site.

Tuesday 6th September - Playoff First Leg - Plymouth v Poole

It is but I am eight miles from the track and this afternoon has seen thunder, heavy rain and now sunshine. The problem is it has all been very localised. This cycle is forecast to continue. I would want to be standing in the centre green to have any certainty on the state of things. -

Wolverhampton v Ipswich 04 July

A late decision on Sam's fitness but given CVS reports his foot is so swollen he cannot yet have an x-ray, I would not be too optimistic. -
Peter Karlsson?
-
But closed 81-2 I believe.

Unsurprisingly, Luke Becker completes the team as confirmed on the official site this morning.

Nick Morris announced as the sixth rider for '22.
