  1. Sedgeman will have one interest on Friday, and one interest alone, that`s the size of his wage packet at the end of the night.

    Berwick 2024

Bastian Borke made a track return yesterday in a Danish SEC/SGP Qualifier where he finished in 12th place with 5pts.
  3. IMO this is a make or break season for Leon, he rather stagnated last year at Berwick so I was delighted he took the decision to move away from Berwick to Glasgow and Birmingham as he was to comfortable at Berwick. By now he should be challenging for a top five spot in the top league but evidence does not show that, personally I hope Birmingham stick with Leon but poor scores will only lead to one thing.
  4. Its wrong and that`s the debate over.
  5. Update on Bastian Borke taken from his Facebook page. Bastian had a brutal crash yesterday in Berwick. Hes ok but still hospitalized. Luckily nothing broken but very bruised and having trouble walking. We hope he comes home to dk tonight and for a check up at Danish hospital tomorrow. Thank you for the many messages. It means a lot to Bastian.
  6. Couple of iffy decision and one complete cock up for me. Etheridge can feel hard done to with his exclusion in heat 5, I expected all four back but at least the referee made a positive decision. Inexplicable decision at the start of heat 11, Pickering moved, but penalised himself, when that happens the race should continue and the rider warned after the race. To give the rider who has stopped the race a second chance is crazy.
  7. Another enjoyable meeting that liberally went down to the wire and when the home needed a last heat hero they found two in Rory Schlein and Richard Lawson.
  8. Sunny but very windy at the track.
  9. Weather seems okish for later. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819
  10. You wonder just how hard the Plymouth tried though, Berwick lost Lewis Kerr to injury on Thursday night, yet by Friday afternoon they had Richard Lawson booked as a guest.
  11. While you`d never wish injury on any rider, an injury to your No1 at least gives the club options on guests, I have complete faith in the team manager to pick the right rider.

  13. I have paid £169 for tickets then £273 for the Premier Inn at Manchester Denton for four nights, I consider that to be good value.
  14. Will the Glasgow promotion be out doing a rain dance today and tomorrow.
  15. I have paid £169 for a seat in C section for the four meetings, I think that is very reasonable, especially when compared to the ticket prices for some SGP.
  16. Whenever I have bought tickets for SGP`s I or SON I have used the site below. SON - FIM Speedway
  17. We have explored every angle and evidence of the situation surrounding the test undertaking by Complin last Saturday. Maybe its time to leave to the powers that be to investigate and come to their conclusion whatever that may be.
  18. For those who are only reading this thread and didn't attend the meeting, it hard to believe but there was an actual meeting with racing and with bikes on track. Crazy.
  19. So what did we all think of the actual meeting.
  20. If they don`t then they have a duty to find out, there is enough information out there.
  21. You couldn`t be more wrong, especially in the case of Leon Flint.
  22. I would find it difficult for Lee Complin to put anything forward in mitigation for the reasons you give, there`s enough advice and information out there for any rider unsure what is and what is not allowed. Maybe there was an issue with the test itself or the equipment used to take the but I would find that very hard to believe. At the end of it all the rider is responsible for what he takes, whether it be medication, supplements, vitamins or energy drinks etc.
  23. Maybe Glasgow could do a Plymouth.
  24. You can take the boy out of Berwick, but you can`t............well you know the rest.
