He was impressive at Redcar. Very quick out on track, the fly in the ointment, was his gating. Needs to improve there.
-
Firstly, do Brum have a sponsors licence, to allow them to sign, non EU riders.
-
He is choosing not, to return.
-
The party starts at 7pm, so any time from then, throughout the evening.
-
There will be some surprises (pleasant), in the second string and reserve departments.
-
Yeah, his name wasn't in the team, I heard mentioned.
-
To be honest, Redcar is arguably, the track he goes best at. Could be a smokescreen. I have'nt heard his name mentioned, but would love it and anyway all will be revealed, on Saturday night.
-
It sounds, right out of left field, but it would fit and allow some other appealing names in there. Erik Riss, Kasper Andersen, Norick Blodorn and James Sargeant. It might be miles away, but maybe not. I thought Lewis Kerr was nailed on. We will find out in a week.
-
Yes.
-
Norick Blodorn, a young German rider, (think he is 17 or 18). An exciting prospect, but gating needs to improve. Rides in Poland and Sweden.
-
Do the Diamonds, have a sponsors licence, to allow them to sign an aussie.
-
If Erik is coming back, next year to race in the UK, I think it will be at Redcar.
-
Not unless he learns how to gate.

Play off Q/F Edinburgh v Redcar Friday 1st and Sunday 3rd October

You are probably right, but you could not, make the starts he did tonight and prevail at Armadale. Far more difficult and stressful to ride, than Peterborough and Belle Vue. How the Bears promotion view it, maybe different. We will see how it plays out, over the close season. -

I don't profess, to know the answer to this. Do the paramedic ambulances, have the necessary clearance and authority to transfer people to hospital. Whenever I have seen this, an NHS ambulance has done the transfer. I just wonder if it may not be as straightforward, as people think. The trend is to shy away from responsibility, in this blame and claim society. Obviously some injuries are more serious than others. Again I would stress, I don't know, the regulations, that the paramedic companies work to. -

Spot on. These two would always succeed, no matter what system was in place. -

Think this is my last season as a speedway fan. Like many have had a belly full of the joke rules. -
Two broken fingers and has had an operation on them. Hoping to give it a go Monday. Yes, I think R/R, means game over.

Exactly, I wouldn't take too much notice of Rob Lyons comments. -
Redcar Vs Leicester 10/09

You have hit the nail on the head. Too many riders, ( Allen Sergeant and even Charles Wright, but he seems to be close to sorting it ) seem to be set up, with fast engines, for slick tracks and spinning up and going backwards, in the first half of the meeting. When the track slicks off, then they come to the fore, but you cannot, keep going 10 and 12 points behind and pulling it out of the fire. You would think, they could come up, with a set up to suit this. As you say, we either, alter the track ( go super slick ), or combat it with a set up. I know which way I would go. Bears were exposed last night, with MPT and Jake Allen having off nights. -
Sadly, I have to agree with you. Brough park, is a relic of a bygone era and not suitable for exciting racing (modern day style). If speedway in Newcastle, is to flourish again. It has to be away from Brough. Anything else is sticking a plaster over a major injury and ultimately doomed to failure.

Redcar Vs Leicester 10/09

Totally agree with that. Most of the lions big guns, are very happy around Redcar. Hans Andersen, hasn't been before, but it will be like a " duck to water" and he should fit right in. The lower order could be the difference and even then it will be close, incidentally, Zaine Kennedy, has been to Redcar twice before, 6 rides for no points. I would expect him to do better this time. -
One metre, was never going to make a difference. It needed 5 metre's at least and the squareness of the corners taking off. The trouble is that would severely harm the football pitch.
