Joanne 0 Posted May 8, 2003 I remember last year. We were supposed to meet in a certain pub at 2pm I think and the Wetherspoons later on. The first pub (I can't remember the name) had no-one there I could recognise except Colin Pratt. And the Wetherspoons pub was mobbed. Couldn't see anyone until Addict came running down the stairs to greet me. A couple of us stood outside looking around for other forum members, not knowing that some were inside hidden amongt the hundreds of speedway fans inside. Also, how about arranging a rain off meet up for Friday night just in case? I'm sure a load of folk were left at a loose end last year when Newport was washed out so why not have a provisional date? I was looking for the 'Powder Room' after having a pint in the other pub (mentioned before) when Addict came tearing down the stairs. So I was not on the lookout for forum members. It was nice to see Addict though, as always Yes, folks have a lot to look forward to, Addict.
