Fax: 01469 531129 Riders - Club Information The Club has been formed to provide some much needed competitive practice sessions for riders of Grade 2 Conference League and below on a similar basis to the Amateur Broadsiders and Southern Track Riders Clubs. Places will be available for a maximum of 24 riders (16 adults, 8 youths) which will ensure a substantial amount of rides and fill the gap between training schools and second half practice following league meetings. This club will be run under the Speedway Control Bureau strict rules. All youth riders must hold an upgraded youth500 licence, other youth riders may be accommodated at later meetings. The sessions will be run at Scunthorpe Raceway, Normanby Road , Scunthorpe with the first one on Friday 20th May 2005 commencing with signing on between 5.00pm-5.45pm . Riders meeting will follow at 6.00pm with practice commencing at 6.15pm until 10.00pm . The first two rides will provide the opportunity to do set ups, practice starts or check racing lines etc. PLEASE NOTE: To keep the running costs low all riders must provide one marshall for one third of the meeting who must be aged 16 or over. The cost per session will be £35.00 which includes full paramedic cover to conference league standard and club day membership. Bookings can be made by completing the required application and returning it, accompanied by a £15 deposit, no later than Monday 16 May 2005 to the address above (request forms from the above numbers or email or visit http://www.scunthorpe-speedway.co.uk where you can download the application form). The places will be allocated on a first come first served basis, following the receipt of a deposit and will be strictly limited to 24 riders only.
