U-15 Championship Standings

I was disappointed when the Scunthorpe programme didn't have space to print the U-15 standings I had produced so I thought I'd post them here.

 

Hopefully they are correct:

X - signifies a rider didn't take part in that round

with the scores being in round order (Buxton, Armadale, Weymouth, Scunthorpe)

 

My understanding of the rules are:

 

Winner of each round gets 17 points

2nd gets 15, 3rd gets 14, 4th gets 13 etc

Riders tied on race points get championship points for the highest position

 

Best three rounds to count. Top 16 will go to round 7 where the score from that round will be added to the totals

Excellent webpage Stressed and much needed! I think some of the differences are because Steve has split riders with the same race points. My understanding from Peter Oakes was that riders tied on race points all took the highest position.

 

For example George and Ben Hopwood finished on 10 race points on Sunday. I understood that they are both declared as 4th, and take 13 championship points, where as Steve placed George 5th.
