Definitely an Aussie

Here's some names:

Steve Langton, Jack Kidd, Arthur Payne, Bluey Langtry, Reg Challenger, Bill Stipwich (he rode in 1929 Northern League then drove midget cars in Australia around 1936-37), Keith Gurtner.

Ther must be hundreds. Sure it shouldn't be Austrian riders -

ie Leo Killmayer, Otto Holoubek, etc

And the first 2 Aussies here

Billy Galloway and

Keith McKay

And like i suggested earlier i think you could safely go through all the internationals here in Britain for sure and get a large list of Aussies.Think there were always enough good riders in Britain that they never needed to import any for internationals.Jim Airey being an exception for the 73 World Series as i remember at the time he had retired from British Leagues.

Bill Stipwich (he rode in 1929 Northern League then drove midget cars in Australia around 1936-37),

His name was Sticpewich. He also rode for Wembley 1929-30

Some other Australians who rode for Wembley pre-War:

Stan Catlett, Lionel Van Praag, Billy Lamont, Aub Lawson, Dicky Smythe, Dicky Case, Wally Little, Ken Kirkman, Jack Millward, Andy Menzies, Frank Woodroffe.

But no A's, so I won't mention them yet...
